top ten recipes of 2011

Homemade Chicken Tortilla Soup

Image 10 of 10

This year, like last, I’ll be doing a series of end of the year “top 10” posts. It’s nearly impossible to sum up everything that’s happened in the past year (yikes, remember this?!), but I think this photo slideshow does a great job. Yum.

The meals in the photos above are my top ten favorite (and most popular!) recipes that I’ve blogged about in 2011.

Enjoy!

Am I being totally obtuse or are there no links to the original recipes?

I love the quinoa, black bean, and citrus salad, I’ve made it several times this year!

Where’s the recipes? If I click on the image, I get just the image? Can you link them? Also, while I like your blog, the set up of this post is annoying to click through. If I can see them all on one screen, it’s way easier to read. Thanks!

Do you believe in even the simplest form of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism? Or a simple opinion, for that matter? She never said anything was “wrong” with this blog, rather just a small technical issue. In fact, she said “I like your blog.” … (See, I can be snarky with ellipses, too…)

You have no desserts on there! Just an observation. 🙂

Thanks for the inspiration. I have a Kabocha squash sitting on my table and now I shall make your Red Curry dish! Perfect for this chilly weather.

Yes, I triple the vote for linkage please – it makes it easier and efficient for the blog and newcomers.

Love the top 10 post ideas though! What do you base your top 10 on? Taste, convenience, most easily made?

Ok they all look great but no real desserts were included (Elvis Granola doesn’t count)… and my sweet tooth is begging you to compile your top 10 desserts of the year..not just meals (b/c meals are just something to eat til I can eat dessert..ha!)

    Thanks for the round-up, Jenna!
My Mom’s favorite dish is chicken parmesan.. My dad’s is chicken tortilla soup!
Cannot wait to try both of your recipes 🙂
If they come even close to the white chicken chili and baked beans with kale, they’ll be a hit in this household!

I definitely recommend that you add recipe links to any future slide-show type posts you do. It provides little value to readers to simply look at pictures of things you made in the past and then have to search themselves to find the recipe. Besides, it would even increase your page views so you would benefit as well.
