Hi guys!
For dinner tonight I was treated for sure!!! Betty made her faaaabulous quiche again! I think this might be my new favorite dinner. It’s just so tasty!
I had my slice with a plethora of fresh cut cantaloupe and a salad with goat cheese, toasted pine nuts, dried cranberries and drizzled with light balsamic vin. I also had a small glass of cabernet. Perfecto!
I have a ton to do tonight including pack for Chicago! Tomorrow is my last day of work for a very long weekend (I have Friday-Monday off!) and Adam is off tomorrow, so I’m sure I’ll have a huge to-do list. I really can’t believe it’s already November….I only have about a month left of work here! I can’t wait to move home!!!!!! 🙂
I hope everyone has a glorious humpnight and I will be back tomorrow!

November 5, 2008 at 6:16 pmOhhh! I”m so excited to hear about your Chicago trip that’s just around the corner. That quiche looks divine. I’ve never attempted such a complicated dish before…. Are there ways to make this dish simpler? mmmm…..
I don’t know how “glorious” my humpnight is going to be…. but there’s some yoga in store for me, so it can’t be all that bad! 🙂 good luck tomorrow

November 5, 2008 at 8:40 pmdo you have any tips for cooking oats in the microwave with cottage cheese-usually i like to use 1/2 c. dry oats. what are the other measurements I need for water, and cottage cheese and when I should perhaps add the cheese? thanks?!!!

November 5, 2008 at 9:48 pmThat quiche looks amazing! In the ingredents, you listed onion flakes but in the actual recipe you said onion powder….just wondering which it is because I would love to make this!

November 5, 2008 at 10:02 pmJenna, I have a random question about yogadownload- I am downloading all of the free podcasts on my iTunes and I was wondering if you have ever done the free yoga sessions? I did one this morning and I loved it…I know you buy a lot of your sessions from here. Is there a huge difference between the free sessions and the sessions that you pay for? Thanks girl!

November 6, 2008 at 11:02 amQuiche looks so yum…. and see you when you get to Chicago! The weather has been SO warm (I didn’t even wear a jacket today) but it looks like it will be cooling off through the weekend.

November 6, 2008 at 1:01 pmDon’t be daunted – quiche is really quite simple to make! I make my own pastry, but you can easily buy pastry at the grocery store. Just partially bake the shell, fill with your favorite fillings, and bake. I make one most weekends to have on hand for quick lunches or a fun breakfast. (I had a slice of spinach and Gruyere for lunch today.) I agree – this one looks incredible.
Jenna, have fun in Chicago!
