Hey y’all!
Weather is getting really bad here and a huge storm is heading our way, so we are trying to get out as soon as possible. Never fear, we will NOT be taking my little civic up to Tahoe this weekend….a truck is always much better option. And I will not be driving…which is probably for the best seeing I just had my first experience driving with frost on my windshield two months ago. No big deal.
I’ve been pretty busy this morning, trying to get some writing done before the weekend officially begins. I’m up to my ears in editing the first section of the book right now. Can’t wait for the final product! I ate a bowl of ezekiel cereal with banana for breakfast:

And then snacked on a few dried apricots and almonds for a snack (plus a cappuccino!):

Unfortunately I have stepped down from the Healthy Living Summit committee and won’t be in attendance this year. This has absolutely nothing to do with the girls (they are some of my best friends!) or the Summit itself, but for reasons I can’t express right now. Don’t worry, I’ll fill everyone in soon….! It’s exciting stuff, I assure you.
Camera is charged and ready to go…..time for an adventure!

Only another month or so until Lent is over and I can enjoy, although I have to say, after a week of not drinking caffeinated beverages (including tea!) I feel great!
Oh no, that’s sad that you can’t participate in the summit, but I sure am excited to hear about why!
Have so much fun in Tahoe!! For some reason, your bowls of cereal always look so much tastier than mine, its so strange.
I’m jealous of the Tahoe trip, that’s going to be so much fun!
Enjoy Tahoe. The drive from there is a white knuckle ride down the steep roads.
Have a wonderful time in Tahoe! It’s one of my favorite places to be during the winter time =)

Have a fantastic weekend!
If you are in South Lake Tahoe, you MUST eat at Freshies! It is fantastic!
http://www.freshiestahoe.com/
I found it on the next to last day of my trip there and I ate there for lunch and dinner
I’m intrigued! Yet saddened – I’m sure you’ll be missed! Can’t wait to find out the mystery.
I had the same breakfast this morning! You have only driven once with frost on your windshield? Woah.
You always keep us guessing….now I want to know the “reasons”….!!! Love bananas and love cereal , so what else is there to say?!
Stay safe this weekend! Do you travel with your laptop?
Have a great weekend in Tahoe! If you get a chance try ski lessons for the day – so much fun!
I think we have matching bowls, I love that size bowl. It’s prefect for oatmeal or some cereal.
Can’t wait to see pics
Looking forward to your next bit of exciting news! Have a wonderful time in Tahoe, it is a place of magic.
Also, I’m absolutely obsessed with dried apricots. They’re the best dried fruit in my opinion. So plump, sweet, and chewy!
My heart kinda drooped when I learned you were stepping down from Healthy Living Summit committee. But it perked right back up to hear you have exciting news. Can’t tell you how HAPPY I am for you!
Wishing you a delightful weekend in the snow and looking forward to those pics.
Blessings ~ Debbie
Almonds and apricots – best snack ever
Yumm almonds and apricots. I hope you can make it…girls in trucks kick ass!
hmmm I wonder what the news is! hope it’s good
I’ve always wanted to go to Tahoe… However, I’m not complaining because Whistler (and the best skiing ever! plus the Olympics!) is essentially in my backyard. Next time you guys should come here
I’m sad that you won’t be going too but i’m sure you must have an amazing reason!!!
Have a great weekend! Hope you stay safe! I’m sure the Healthy Living Summit will miss you! I really want to go this year, and if I do I’ll be so bummed if you’re not there!!

I hope that you have a great trip! Be safe and have fun
I am excited to hear your news, though sad to hear you won’t be taking part of the HLS this year.
Argh! The suspense!
Hope you have a great time with your friends in Tahoe. Should be a great getaway.
If I had to guess at your new opportunity, I would have to say TV show host since you were such a natural on your winery application video.
Have fun on your Tahoe trip!! If you are snowboarding, remember to NOT put out your arms when you fall, otherwise you can break your wrist-ouch! Your experienced snowboarding friends should tell you this.
Sorry to hear you are not going to the Healthy Living Summit this year. I was hoping to go so I could meet my favorite bloggers, that being you, Tina, and Kath. Can’t wait to hear your exciting news of why you’ll be elsewhere during the summit.
ahh have fun in tahoe! be careful on your drive, it tends to be not too much fun!
Too bad you won’t be coordinating. I’m interested to hear what you have lined up instead!
