Happy 4th of July to you!
I hope everyone has a safe, happy holiday filled with friends, good food and lots of laughter. I’m honestly not sure what our plans are for tonight—Adam still has family in town so we’ll probably just grill at home with them and watch the fireworks close by.
Today I was planning on doing a biiiiig recipe round-up of all the 4th of July food in the land. And by the land, I mean the Internets. But! Then I realized that that might be silly because you guys probably already have your menu and plans all set. Duh, Jenna. So then I figured I would just do a party drink round-up instead!
Enjoy!
Virgin Sangria. <—–I think this might win as one of the oldest recipes on ELR! I think I stuck it in here back in 2008 so please excuse the awful photo. I need to re-make and re-post this one because it really is quite delicious!
La Paloma (tequila + grapefruit juice + sparkling water. yes.)
P.S.—please, please, please don’t drink and drive. not cool.
P.P.S.—I really love you guys.

July 4, 2012 at 7:04 amHappy July 4th! Thanks for the non-alcoholic options. We do not drink liquor for health reasons and most people offer up boring and dull alternatives. Yours look so good and refreshing. I’m excited to try them.
