Behind The Butter

Where There’s Tartine, There’s A Way

Hey guys!

First time blogging from my iPhone…hoping that this works! So, in sitting here at SFO waiting on my plane and eagerly anticipating my lunch, which is a Tartine ham and gruyere croissant stowed away in my purse. 😉 Yep, was running a little late this morning but that didn’t stop Beth and I to make a quick Tartine hit. I grabbed a cappuccino and the croissant for the plane. Mmmmm

My alarm went off at 5:50 and it was all I could do to grab a piece of millet toast with almond butter and a yogurt while grabbing Dexter and hitting the road! But get this—the pet hotel has “kitty cams” set up so I can watch Dexter online. Yay!

Time to fly south!

A ham and gruyere croissant sounds delicious! Much better than the usual airplane food 🙂

Sometimes if I’m on a long-haul flight I’ll ask for the vegan meal option. On Mexicana Air it’s usually steamed veggies, fruit, and dark chocolate. Such an easy way to get produce mid-air!

I love bringing my own lunch on planes and making everyone else jealous. I’m already planning what to bring for the 24 hours it takes to get to Australia — the veggie option is pasta so I’m gonna pass on that “delicacy.” 😉

    Have a safe flight!!

There are a few ‘doggie hotels’ around where I live that charge extra if you want your dog’s room to have a TV playing Animal Planet. How funny is that? I get a kick out of it.
