Dinner/ Lunch

Wine > Jetlag

Hey y’all!

Hope your Thursday has gone well. I’ve been pretty busy running errands and getting stuff straightened out around here….plowing away at the to-do list! 😉 I wasn’t really home at all (and I didn’t have any food anyway) so I just raced into Starbucks and grabbed a chocolate banana vivanno smoothie to drink for lunch on the go—

I LOVE these….especially with an added shot of espresso! 😉
Snack later was a coconut larabar and then I met some friendly Texans at Willi’s Wine Bar for an early dinner.
Meet Jose (ladies, he’s single!):

I drank a lovely glass of La Crema pinot noir, had a few mussels, some spinach salad and a little lamb. Very yummy…I love this place!

For some reason the way you phrased that “little” before the lamb brought some sadness into my mind. I am thinking/hoping you meant you didn’t have much rather than you ate a tiny, little lamb. Either way, glad you are enjoying yourself back in Cali! 🙂

I’ve tried the chocolate banana vivanno smoothies, and I agree they’re good in a pitch….but to me they have an earthy, almost “dirt” taste. I wonder if the the addition of espresso gets rid of that…
