Since you suggested it, I’m delighted to hear you don’t mind making the trip all the way over to the UK, lol! 😉 Well worth it for a meal like this! 😀 That guacamole looks DIVINE, it’s begging me to eat it through the screen…thank goodness I have avocadoes in the fridge! 🙂 xyx

July 4, 2011 at 6:12 amJenna – You need to add your peach and blackberry cobbler to this post! I made it for our 4th BBQ yesterday and my husband said it was “the best dessert he has ever had in his whole life.” And he is NOT prone to hyperbole. The ginger really takes it over the top. The recipe is officially my go-to summer dessert from here on out… our friends really flipped for it too. And it is fab for breakfast with a cup of coffee 🙂
Thanks so much for making me super-hostess with this killer recipe!
Happy 4th!

July 4, 2011 at 6:30 amVeggie tacos make an appearance on my menu at least a couple times a month, they’re just so good! Your mom’s recipe looks amazing, I can’t wait to give it a try!

July 4, 2011 at 8:09 amWhat a party you created on-line! Yes! This is too early in the AM for my mouth to be watering over a margarita or baked beans. (Geeze, Julie…..Control yourself!)

July 4, 2011 at 8:23 amWhat a great menu! SO many things I want to try. I never would’ve thought I could make baked beans at home (I admit I’m so used to buying them in a can) so I’ll need to get right on that!

July 4, 2011 at 9:17 amOk, I loved the agua fresco recipe the first time but I’ve really been putting it off for far too long. Time to get down to business and drink it all in one sitting!

July 4, 2011 at 11:59 amMade your saucy pulled pork this week and black bean citrus quinoa salad! Paired the pulled pork on Trader Joe’s pretzel buns & cheddar cheese and DF said it was delish! Only thing we didn’t like about the quinoa salad was the grapefruit. Too bitter for us. Next time, oranges instead!
Happy 4th!

July 4, 2011 at 9:20 pmLove your blog Jenna! Your pictures are so pretty! I’m a HUGE fan of Tahoe too, I spent two amazing seasons working at Squaw Valley – I just wish I had gotten to see it in the summer, and now thanks to your pics I can!
Champagne sangria – genius! I’ve never heard of it before and can’t wait to break that one out when our summer rolls around!
