Yeah….I may or may not be a little addicted to Tahoe.
Or actually, all vacations in general. I also may or may not have booked our 4th of July trip the same night I came home from my birthday trip.
Like I said, addicted.
Now if you’ll please excuse me, I have a trashy Christian romance novel that’s calling my name. And a cocktail.
Everything in moderation?

July 2, 2011 at 12:46 pmIt’s ok to be addicted to Tahoe. It’s an amazing place. Each year the fireworks are shot over the lake and if you can, find a way to watch them from the middle of the lake. I highly recommend it. If you can’t, the beach is always just as fun.

July 2, 2011 at 1:03 pmAs an east coaster, I WISH I lived close enough to go to Tahoe more often! I have been twice now and am totally in love. One of our restaurants of all time is out there too, Evan’s Bistro. A tiny, but amazing restaurant! Make sure to check out the Shakespeare Festival (if it is going on). They put on a great performance, good food, and even a great sunset! Enjoy your weekend!

July 2, 2011 at 1:07 pmI spent every summer in Lake Tahoe until I turned 18. My parents have a vacation home in Incline. There is no where more peaceful, I share your addiction. Have a wonderful 4th!

But…what does Adam read while you reading your guilty pleasure? 😉 (is he reader by the way? Or do opposites attract?!)

July 3, 2011 at 12:31 amTrashy Christian romance novels and alcohol go so well together. Jesus turned water into wine once. He knows our needs. Please tell me you’re reading something by Francine Rivers. Or Lori Wick.

July 3, 2011 at 12:20 pmHappy Holiday Weekend!
I’ll be heading to Lake Tahoe for the first time on Wednesday. My boyfriend’s sister is getting married on Saturday (the 9th). His family has been going there (most are there now) for two weeks every July for the last 40 plus years (they stay in Carneallan Bay).
I always pull your pictures up to share with him. He is THRILLED to finally be able to share this beautiful place with me.

July 6, 2011 at 11:47 amI was in Tahoe for the 4th, too. It’s a yearly tradition for me – my best friend from college grew up in Incline Village so we’ve been up there every 4th for a while now. Where were you? North or Sotuh Shore?

July 7, 2011 at 5:09 pmohhh i’m heading up to tahoe with the fambam tomorrow! please help me out here…what is the proper protocol when one runs into a favorite blogger? is it ok to jump up and down shouting “I KNOW YOU! I KNOW YOU!” Should I act cool and pretend I don’t know you, all while attempting to strike up a friendly conversation with said favorite blogger? Are bloggers celebrities whose private time should be respected? Should i send the waiter over and quietly ask for your autograph AFTER i buy your entire party drinks? I’m befuddled and desperate for an answer. I’d hate to blow this one. Seriously….the things we have to deal with these days…
😉
