Don’t mind me as I sit and stare at the picture that lists all the flavors. Frosted cupcake taffy, yes please.

Lys October 25, 2011 at 12:54 pm

Oh my gosh. Where is this?! And if you say ‘heaven’….

Melissa @ Journey to Marvelous October 25, 2011 at 12:54 pm

From the first picture I knew exactly where you were…the saltwater taffy shack in Bodega Bay! I have a love/hate relationship with that candy-striped beach shack 🙂

jenna October 25, 2011 at 1:00 pm

yes! How did I just discover this place??!

Sandy October 25, 2011 at 3:10 pm

I’ve been there! I love the T-shirt and you look so slim in it. Are you keeping totally fit with just yoga now? I can’t seem to remember seeing any posts about running, biking or weight lifting for a while.

jenna October 25, 2011 at 3:26 pm

I just do yoga now…I practice 5-6 days a week

Chels October 25, 2011 at 12:57 pm

You are super cute & love the shirt. That taffy looks so yummy!

Cait's Plate October 25, 2011 at 12:57 pm

Oh my – that place is like my heaven. We have a candy store in the town I live in and it’s seriously always me and like ten 8 year old kids in there. It feels pretty awesome. Haha.

Kate G. October 25, 2011 at 12:58 pm

First: heck yes to all that candy! I don’t go out on Halloween, but I DO enjoy the candy.

Second: Do you mind if I ask where you got that watch? It’s totally adorable(!)

jenna October 25, 2011 at 12:59 pm

thanks! I got that watch from’s the red “camper” watch

Kate G. October 25, 2011 at 5:05 pm

Holli October 25, 2011 at 12:59 pm

SWEET! You need to come to the East Coast for some Jersey Shore Saltwater Taffy. The. Best. Ever!!!

Love this post<3

Doris @ vanillacocoberry October 25, 2011 at 1:08 pm

jenna, i really like your current hair looks so natural and really brings out your eyes! I always automatically go darker in winter when I dont get highlights… I think you need to give your hair a rest sometimes!

Heather @ girlyeverafter October 25, 2011 at 1:18 pm

Dentures were made for this exact reason! It’s totally fine.

Kelli H (Made in Sonoma) October 25, 2011 at 1:39 pm

haha, love when you showcase local places. : ) I used to go there all the time in high school.

Kristin October 25, 2011 at 1:46 pm

Be careful! I broke one of my beautiful teeth eating a piece of soft, delicious taffy! It was only my second chew in and I heard a big crunch … pulled the piece of tooth out of the taffy … I was on vacation and had to have the missing chunk/hole in my tooth filled in by my dentist when I got home! I had just bought a TON of taffy too … in all these amazing flavors and it taunted me the rest of our vacation! I told my dentist they could make a killing if they had a big bowl of taffy on their receptionist desk for their clients!!

jenna October 25, 2011 at 1:48 pm

omg! i just got goosebumps reading that with a piece of licorice taffy in my mouth….gehhh

Amanda October 25, 2011 at 2:25 pm

What an awful thing to happen – especially on vacation!

Chew carefully, Jenna!

Kristin October 25, 2011 at 5:25 pm

I KNOW! Who knew that strong, healthy teeth can just break off chewing some soft taffy? I was completely shocked. We were on vacation for my birthday, too! I just kept having nightmare visions of having to have a ridiculous root canal over a piece of taffy or that they wouldn’t be able to save the tooth because of how it broke and I’d have to get a bridge or an implant, etc … luckily, my dentist was able to just fill in the hole with some bonding tooth material – Phew! He said he sees people in his office all the time who have broken their teeth or usually broken a crown or filling eating taffy or chewy caramels. Licorice taffy is my FAV … love rootbeer, cinnamon, peppermint and banana too! I love how with the first few chews, you keep getting a burst of chewy, delicious flavor! Bruce’s Candy Kitchen in Cannon Beach, Oregon (on the Coast) has AMAZING taffy, if you are ever in that beach town.

Ruthiey October 25, 2011 at 1:47 pm

Jennnna! This looks so yummy! <3

Shareece October 25, 2011 at 1:49 pm

I read your blog every day and rarely comment on blogs but I just have to tell you, you are gorgeous! Your skin is ridiculous, what do you use to keep it so stunning??

jenna October 25, 2011 at 2:50 pm

seriously?? well, thank you…I feel like there’s always something going on with my skin but I’m glad the iphone photo didn’t capture that. I just use bare minerals make-up and neutrogena products!

Jen October 25, 2011 at 3:59 pm

Which Neutrogena products?

jenna October 25, 2011 at 5:18 pm

I use the gentle scrub and light night cream

Jen October 25, 2011 at 6:09 pm

Thank you. I usually buy Neutrogena but just whatever is cheapest usually (not the higher-end stuff in the packaging!).

Krystina (Organically Me) October 25, 2011 at 1:50 pm
