Uh. No one get mad because I completely forgot to share my last Green Giant recipe with you! Oops. If you’re just joining us, I’m sharing one of the three super speedy weeknight supper recipes I developed for Green Giant over the summer. You can find the other two here and here.
This Green Giant honey roasted corn is my very favorite GG product, hands down. It’s SO GOOD. Like, I could eat just a bowl of this alone. It’s slightly sweet from the honey and is incredibly addicting. Just try it and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
This recipe may sound super summery to you, but it uses every day ingredients you can find at your local grocery store. I always keep a jar of storebought pesto in my fridge at all times for quick flatbread toppings like this. It comes in very handy when company come over…aka it looks like you spent a long time in the kitchen but you really spent ten minutes. Add wine and you’re golden.
Now I do like to make my own pizza dough! If you don’t have time, Trader Joes has great refrigerated dough in the produce section but I urge you to try making your own and freezing balls of it like I do. When you know you want to make pizza for dinner, just pop one of the frozen dough balls into the fridge the night before. Voila.
I love the sweet and savory flavors of this easy pizza! It’s great on it’s own or cut up into tiny slices and served with wine for a “fancy” appetizer. The parmesan cheese and the honey roasted corn go great together. Oh, and this reheats wonderfully as well. Next time I’m making two.
Here’s a link to the recipe! Enjoy!
