Too cute! 15 years wow! I liked your pic with your short hair too though. But I totally know what is like (I think every girl cries over a haircut or two, or in my case 4).

As a freezer extrodainnaire I have got a q for you! So, I know that once you take out frozen meat you aren’t supposed to refreeze it. Do you know why? For example, today, I bought ground turkey and was going to cook it so after I got home I put in the fridge. Now, I decided I’d rather have something else, but I think I can’t refreeze it? Too confusing!

(hee! i’m the first one!) sry i didn’t get to post until so late-full day w/work! amy and jessica (and everyone else for that matter!) thanx so much for the support! it means alot! just reading your positive comments made me smile and feel better about myself! tina-you’re so nice! thanx for cheering me on and i want to do the same for you (and all you guys). i did great today-i hope you did too, tina- and better yet i feel AMAZING! ate yummy and healthy foods throughout the day and stayed on track w/out deprivation. did feel a little like indulging tonight when i realized that i still had math (ugh) to complete, but i popped in some gum and just dove into it! i realized that eating would not only make me feel worse, but i’d still have to do the work after! i am definitely exhausted, and need my sleep (i’m the person who can’t function on less than 7!) i think that aided my binge (not tired so less willpower). i will try to get to bed at a decent time, and will just have to make plans to go to bed early tomorrow! goodnight all!

You guys are so beautiful.. hehe!

That’s too bad you had to go through all that hair drama this weekend… but like you said, it’s hair and it grows back! And I’m pretty sure you look awesome, so cheer up!

I do have a random question for you: What brand of maple syrup do you buy? What is your take on sugar-free syrups, jams, gums, etc?

    Amy,

I think it has something to do with the protein coagulating but I’m really not sure either. Its a scientific thing! Just make sure you dont do it! I always just take out of the freezer the portion size I want so i can leave the rest in there for later

    Evie,

I dont use a particular brand of maple syrup–I just go for the purest, best kind that I can afford. I really dont eat/chew sugar free anything…I don’t really “do” artificial sweeteners (except for 1 splenda a day in my morning coffee or tea). I like to taste the real flavor of what I’m eating….such as pure raspberry preserves, maple syrup, ect. I have a strong idea that sugar-free stuff really isnt that good for you (you dont want to eat too many sugar free licorice sticks or you will never be able to leave the bathroom. trust me on this one). Yeah…you might have like 10 extra calories…but I’m not on a diet so that really doesnt bother me. I would rather eat a small amount of the good stuff. As for gum—I really dont chew gum that often. I’m not allowed to at school and its just tacky to chew gum whille at work.
