Bahaha I love that squirrel photo!! I’m terrified of squirrels actually because I had a nightmare about one running up my back and taking a chunk out of my upper back. This was when I was in elem. school, mind you!
Ok! You totally have to message me where in Berkeley you were..I would love to visit the shop you were at…looks like a great little place my daughter would love to go. She’s 12 and secretly a hippie at heart! ๐ lol

Oh, I LOVE when you go to Berkeley! I’m a student here and like seeing things from your perspective. So you went to Angeline’s French Soul Food (I hope you had their lemonade), Telegraph Avenue, Mars Vintage Clothing, and… hmm. That last place stumps me. It looks delicious though! Come again, there’s still much to explore ๐
isn’t berkeley awesome?! every time we go out to California to visit my grandparents we get to go and it’s a blast every time. i love your portraits, too ๐
So fun! I’m moving to the bay area in the fall (eek, 2 months away!) and Berkeley is at the top of my “why I’m excited to move to northern cal” list. Such a fun, unique place!!
I love hippies! I’m really one at heart, despite my girlie exterior. Your photos are so beautiful and colorful. The closest thing NC has to Berkley is Carrboro, which is pretty hippie-fied in its own right.
This summer, the boy and I are getting married, quitting jobs/packing up lives and trekking across the great unknown to live in the Bay Area. and I can’t WAIT to visit Berkeley, Yosemite, Muir Woods… Whenever I get nervous about what we’re doing, I pop over to your blog to get re-excited by photos and experiences!!
I NEVER comment..but those pics of your stylin and profilin…TOTAL HAWT..looking good Jenna (running to buy a hat) woot!

Dara Thai Lao! you should’ve also have gone to one right next door to that one ~ Cha Am! ~ AND you should’ve ordered the #5 po piah rolls along with the #21 your choice of chicken, pork or beef. It was my favorite go-to Thai restaurant when I lived in Berkeley! You’ve got to stop posting pics of Berkeley ~ you’re making me even more homesick than I already am! you see i grew up there and just recently moved to the midwest… Glad you have fun though. telegraph ~ sooo many memories ๐
we went to the berkeley marina for a picnic with reunited friends last week and took the dog – it was oh-so much fun! if you’ve never packed a picnic to go there – i highly recommend it!
My alma mater! Your photos took me back to my college days. I think I’m overdue for a visit. I had a chance to visit briefly last summer (2009), but I was only there for a few hours and spent most of my weekend trip in Oakland and San Francisco. Time to get back to my roots!
