I wish you were coming closer to Florida ! =]
I second this!
3rd!
Waiting in Orlando!
I’m also waiting in FL! Last time I saw you was in Philly — with mug and pb granola in hand
— would be so great to see you again, Jenna, and to introduce you to my baby girl!
How exciting! I cannot wait to buy your book
Please come to Dallas! Or more specifically, to Denton, hehe
I second this request! I live right down 35 in Roanoke! And Jenna, your book came up on my Amazon suggested books email not long ago!!
I hope you can do another SF date that’s just a little later! Would love to meet you in person!
So exciting! I hope you come to the northeast!
Agreed! Please come to Philly!
yesssssss. rittenhouse square? or anywhere in south jersey.
i’ll come chauffeur you guys.
New York City?
Agreed! Come to New York!!
I am so excited you are coming to Birmingham!!! I’ve been reading your blog for a couple of years now, but I don’t think I have never commented. I really love every recipe of yours that I’ve tried – I actually got my husband to eat and enjoy tofu for the first time EVER because of your crisy tofu and rice noodle bowls! I hope you enjoy Birmingham; it’s a great city with lots to see if you have the time. I will be there at your book signing! Can’t wait!
Ah! Come to Nebraska!
what fun! especially to have your mama there, it’ll be a great road trip for sure
Please come to Austin!!!
I second that! We all know how much you LOVE Austin.
yes, austin!
Yes, please Austin!!!!
I hope there’s a Midwest stop! Try Minneapolis!
It’s a great city!!!
and Sioux Falls!
I second Sioux Falls!
Oh how I would love it if it were in Mpls. Im trying to talk my husband into going to Georgia. I love going to food events! Either way, congrats Jenna!
You’re going all around me but not to me! Come to Nashville… your book, my baby. What more could you ask for?!
Seriously!! I would LOVE to come to nashville….I definitely will be coming in February for a conference and want to see you then (if not before)!
PLEASE keep me updated- I would love to see you as well!
Please come to Tampa!
This must be so exciting!! Hope Boston makes the cut
I second Boston:)
Picked up the book this week, can’t wait to dive in! Boston please!!
Think you girls need to bring the tour to Naples also!!
I second the vote for New York City! We’d love to have you here! How can you go on a book tour and not go to NYC?! That’s half the reason I moved here!
WOO HOO! See ya in Atlanta! It’s beautiful in the fall. If you have time to visit any restaurants, make sure to stop by TWO Urban Licks– It will blow your mind!
YES. I second this recommendation. I also suggest South City Kitchen and Ecco.
And Kyma! And Surin!
Oh! And Piedmont Park!
Forget all of the other suggestions and get yourself to Antico Pizza.
Order your Napoli-style pie at the counter, pick up your red peppers and fresh chopped garlic by the ovens, and then prepare to fight for a seat. Worst-case scenario: you have to stuff your face while standing up in the kitchen and watch the men make your pizza.
Incredible.
And don’t forget to BYOB! They have bottle openers and little plastic cups for you to use.
Fun summer book tour lineup! Safe travels and looking forward to seeing photos of all the places you go!
I agree with Olga, you should stop in Boston! That’s not too far …..
Ahhhh I just moved to San Francisco – I’m so excited I’ll get to come see you!
I wish you could come to Houston, TX.
yippee for charleston!
Yay! I’ll be going to Taste of Atlanta, so I’ll definitely stop by. I can’t believe it will be your first time in Atlanta though. You’ll have some great restaurants to choose from… and Taste of Atlanta is always amazing.
I think a European tour is also necessary
How about a trip to the NW (Portland, OR) ???
I second Portland, OR!!!
Ann Arbor?
Poop. These seem to miss many places :-;
I hope you can arrange one in Indiana since you are coming here for the conference anyway!
Ahhh. It’s so real!! VERY excited for you Jenna!!
I (selfishly) second Minneapolis!!! It’s beautiful summer and fall!
Minneapolis!!
Please come to Washington DC!
Yes! I second the DC/Northern VA area!
I third that!!!!!!!! DC is necessary.
Ditto!
Plleeeeease come to DC!
Yes to DC!!
Too bad you won’t be coming to Minnesota!
Ahh so excited you are coming to Atlanta! I think it’s great that you’ll be at Taste of Atlanta event too. Hope to meet you then!
Please come to Fl!!!! Tampa or Orlando would be AWESOME places. I mean, O-town is where your culinary adventure started…just sayin
Yes, please! So happy to see all some of your dates set up! Can’t wait to follow you on instagram on your travels.
Congratulations!! so exciting. i will definitely try to get to the SF date!
Ahh so exciting! I want to come see you in SF…or you could just come to Tahoe! PS: My husband and I just moved to South Lake Tahoe in January, and we were driving around the lake this weekend and we stopped at Char-Pit (per your recommendation) and I got an delish ice cream cone…so good, thanks for the tip!
I wish you were coming to NYC! Can’t wait to buy your book.
Well, we all know how much you LOVE Austin!
Hoping that will be one of the 3 left.
I can’t wait to see you in Atlanta! My hometown. You will love it here.
So exciting Jenna!
To think where life was a few years ago…. following your dreams
Love it! now if only you were coming to Seattle as a part of your tour…! XO
I vote for a Minneapolis stop too! Can’t wait for the book!!
Would love to see you in Kansas City! Your book is already pre-ordered on Amazon…looking forward to it!
Yes!! I would love to see you in Kansas City!
I’d be happy to host a book tour stopover in Chicago if your publisher is into it.
I will see you in San Francisco. I think you’ll have a crazy large turnout
….just sayin!
Yep, I agree…lucky us
I can’t wait to read your book! I just wish you were coming to Philly!
Come to Oklahoma, please!
You’re not coming to Toronto, Canada? Bummer!
Any chance you could make your way to a bookstore up in Canada?
I’ll be buying your book anyways!
I second this!!
I agree!
Yes, agreed! I can’t wait for your book and the opportunity to meet you in person would be amazing.
I’m hoping for a Toronto stop too!
Yes! Toronto PLEASE!!
Definitely a lot of interest here in Toronto!
come here, you’ll make friends and we’ll throw a party.
And Ottawa too!
Such an exciting time for you! Congratulations!
Come to the north! Namely, Detroit! Or Ann Arbor…you’ve been there before!
Hope Nashville is one of the stops!
Come to the midwest!!!
Hope you come visit your SoCal neighbors – we’d love to see you in this half of the state! San Fran always gets all the love…Lol
Have fun, Jenna, and congrats!!!!!!!!

You have fans up here in Canada too! In the very french Montréal!
Do you know if there will be a Kindle edition coming out?
There will definitely been a Nook edition out right away, but I’m not sure about Kindle. I need to ask my publisher about that!
I hope so! Gotta stock up on reading material for maternity leave.
well jenna… reallly…. why do you do this to meeeee???!!!!
although i am from seattle and currently in scottsdale, az, I WILL find a way to make at least one of these !!!! (i’m not a stalker, i swear!
) …..it does look like you are visiting some COOL places !
ps – you and your mom have PERFECT teeth.
Will you by any chance be making a stop in Toronto, Ontario?! Congratulations on the book as well! I preordered mine yesterday
Crossing my fingers for San Diego! I can’t wait to read cover to cover!
I must put in a loud third vote for Minneapolis! I’ll take Milwaukee or Madison too. I know you have a soft spot for the Midwest.
I also think you would love the farmer’s market in Madison on a Saturday morning, followed by a Badger game at Camp Randall. Really, there’s nothing better …
I second Milwaukee or Madison!! but then again, I just got a job offer which would involve relocating to Charlotte in August, so perhaps I will see you there!
Congrats! I just put it in my calendar – see you in Savannah!
Jenna! You have to come to Chicago!!!!
EL LAY!!
Jenna, If I buy the book online before your SF event, can I still get you to sign it? Or do I have to buy it at Omnivore?
Cograts, can’t wait!
I’m not sure. I will find out!
I hope you come to Kentucky, you used to live here right?!
I second this request. Please come to Kentucky!
Austin, Austin, Austin!
How exciting! I wish I could make it to one of your book tour locations! Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to spread the word in Paris
can’t wait to read.
Ahhh this is so exciting Jenna!! I hope you have a great time – I’m sure the book will be a hit! If you have any Canadian tour dates planned, let me know!!
Come to Dallas!
Definitely sad that you’re not coming up to Canada – I’d love to see you on your book tour! I’ll just have to make do with buying the book as soon as it comes out.
I will see you in birmigham! So glad it made the list
Oh please, please, please come to NYC!!!!
Do you think you’ll be adding Portland, Oregon to your list?!!
I’d love to see you on your book tour!!
This is so exciting!!! Any chance you’ll be stopping in Chicago??
The Midwest would gladly welcome a stop on your little tour – especially St. Louis
I’m with all the others — come to NYC!!!
How funny that 1st stop is “Omnivore’ at ‘Church’
So exciting (and helpful) that you and your Mom can do this together. Am sure ‘White Jacket’ will be #1 on Amazon ‘tout de suite’ and that it’ll be a terrific read.
Savannah AND Charleston. I’m stuck in between the two, so I may just make it to both!
Congrats on the book and I hope you and your Mom have a grand time road tripping the book tour. So fun!
Ahh darn–wish you were coming to DC!
Do I need to purchase the book in one of those locations only to get it signed or can I buy one in advance?
Do another one in SF!!!!! Books Inc on Chestnut, perhaps?
Aw hope you come to Wisconsin! !!
Jenna, please come to Memphis! =)
YAY! I’m so coming to see you when you are in Savannah! AH SO EXCITED!
How exciting for you! And I love that you’re mom will be road tripping too. Awesome!
I haven’t seen anyone request Philadelphia, please add us to your tour. Can’t wait for the book.
Come to Texas!
You’re coming to Colorado, right?
You would love Dallas/Fort Worth and your welcome to stay with me!
Oh how I read through your post, holding my breath, hoping to see Columbus OH on your list. Please oh please come to Cbus. I promise to take you to all the best foodie spots.
So exciting!!! You’re going to have such a great time!
Oooh cool, I’m very close to Pineville (NC), I will definitely try to come that night
Would love to see you in Boston!!
Ok Jenna, seriously you need to fit in a stop at Melbourne, Australia. Totally not even that far
Have fun on your tour, lovely. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Love.
Heidi xo
Texas dates, please!
Chicago, Milwaukee, or Madison please!!!!
So excited! I’d love to come see you if you end up coming close to the Reading/ Philadelphia, PA area:-).
CONGRATS!!! I hope one day I’ll be able to do the same.
Oh man you’re coming to Atlanta!! I’m so excited.
I go to school there! I don’t know how long you’re going to be there but if you need restaurant recommendations: Figo, Fogo de Chao, Yeah Burger or Farm Burger, and Another Broken Egg are some of my favorites!
Congratulations Jenna! So excited for you… What an accomplishment at 27! You look so darn pretty in that photo with your mom.
Is that shirt from the Gap? I think I saw something that looks like that there.
Also, come to Seattle or Portland… Please…
You know you have a place to stay in KC, m’ dear! <3
Yay for atlanta!!! Do you need restaurant suggestions? Or suggestions for places to stay? I’ve lived here six years and I can think of some places that seem very you!
.
Would love restaurant recommendations! We will only be there for one night, but I’d definitely take any recommendations you (or other Atlanta friends!) might offer!
You HAVE to try Six Feet Under off of Memorial Drive. The best martini I’ve ever had – they put blue cheese olives in it. And their catfish, rat toes (scallops wrapped in bacon), shrimp n’ grits, fried okra,… I could go on and on. Also, the Vortex in Little Five Points or Bone Garden Cantina have great atmosphere and some of the best burgers/tacos.
Enjoy your stay!
Yay Birmingham!!!! My girlfriends and I are SO excited!!
It looks like you should add a poll to the website for a fan favorite choice and make that your last stop… Just saying.
I’ll put the first plug in for Oklahoma City. I have an absolutely amazing yoga instructor/studio to visit while you’re here – second floor studio in a charming, old house with the perfect amount of creaks as you walk up the stairs, followed by produce just off the family farm. Sunday morning Gospel Vinyassa is a must!
I really wish I could! That yoga studio sounds AMAZING!
My girlfriend and I really wanted to come to one of these and cheer you on, but we are in Chicago! I hope thats one of the days you are adding!
Still hoping for your home state of Florida!! I can definitely make it up to Vero, but would love for you to come to West Palm Beach (suburbs of).
Please come a smidge closer to Raleigh, NC! Though…I don’t really have a problem driving to Charlotte for you
I second Raleigh!!! I can’t make it out to Charlotte on a work night :-/
I second this! I’d totally drive to charlotte, but I can’t make it on a work night
I LOVE Omnivore Books! Looking forward to that!
Aww you’re gonna be right down the road from me in Charleston! Can’t wait
Yeah for a Charlotte stop!!!
You should come to Richmond, Virginia! It’s still in the south but not so far down as your other stops!
Come to BOSTON!!!!!!!!!!!! or Nyc would work too! Congratulations on your book, I can’t wait to read it!
Yey I cannot wait to meet you in North Carolina!!!
So glad you are coming to NC! I will be there
Sweet, Jenna! Excited to meet ya in SF!

See you in Birmingham! I’ll try to get some sort of post up about it on our Southern Living website.
NYC NYC NYC NYC Thank you!
Come to BookPeople in Austin!

Don’t forget the midwest! Chicago is a an awesome city to visit in the fal!
I wish I was still going to be in San Fran so I could meet, hug and congratulate you!! I’ve been reading your blog for like 3 years now (!!) – and something about it just always inspires me. Cant wait to read the book!! xox
Come to Raleigh!!! pretty please!!!!! I promise to show up in a sundress and rainbows with a glass of sweet tea if you do!
I second the Raleigh suggestion. Quail Ridge Books (a lovely independent bookstore) would be the perfect location for you in the Triangle. I would love to hear you read there (and meet you too). Any chance of adding additional signings?
Come to Texas!!!!!!!
You NEED to come to Utah. Caleb insists:) Congrats!!!
Congratulations, Jenna!
This is so exciting for you! To be honest, I’m not sure if this book will be my cup of tea but that really doesn’t matter and is in no way a criticism. What I find so admirable and inspiring is the fact that I read your blog when you hadn’t “made it” – you really deserve all you get because you worked your way up, making a risky move to California, noticeably improving the quality of the writing and photography as you learned, and making a somewhat risky change in content (to focus more on food) which paid off.
What about New England???
Yeah, How about New England?? Maine is lovely in September!!
Show the Midwest some love. Very excited about your book.
I’m not going to tell you to come to Detroit (or anywhere near it!), but how very exciting Jenna! So happy for you!
There is a very important one obviously left out here.. AUSTIN!
The Savannah date is on my calendar! It’s because of you I finally went to Back in the Day and I’m forever greatful. I’m kicking myself for taking 5 years to go there. Now it’s a family favorite stop and I’ve already made 25% of the recipes in the cookbook!
Would love for you to come to Maine, but I would drive to Boston to see you if I had too!!
SO EXCITED YOU ARE COMING TO BHAM!!!
Yay!!! You are coming to Charlotte!! Can’t wait
I 2nd that! Yeah Charlotte!
any chance you’ll be making it to Southern California? San Diego would be perfect, I’d love to attend a book signing.
Yahoo! See you in Birmingham
The Taste of Atlanta event is AWESOME and totally worth the price!!!
You are skipping out on The Nation’s Capital? Come to DC. There are tons of vineyards right outside the city (I am happy to take you on a tour. . .). Congrats!!
Do one in Berkley! I can’t believe you only have SF for the whole west coast? Tell me it’s not true!
Jenna – pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase come to Colorado Springs!!!!
So excited that you’re coming to Atlanta. My restaurant suggestion is The Porter; the garlic fries are to die for! As a bonus, it’s located in a super cool neighborhood called Little Five Points. A few vintage stores, record stores, and generally interesting people there.
Please come to Ohio, please come to Ohio, please come to Ohio!
Hey girl! Come to Greenville, sc! I will be there. I work at a school so getting to charlotte or charleston on a weeknight isnt possible! Would love to meet you!
NEW YORK PLEASE!!!
DC!!
NEW YORK!??!?!?!? PLEASE!!!
Hope you come to NYC; would love to see you! So excited for you Jenna!!!
Pretty please come to NYC!
SOOOO excited you are coming to Charleston. I can’t wait!!
I’m SO excited to see your tour will bring you to Birmingham! I’ve been a fan of your blog for a year+ and enjoy reading about your adventures in cooking and in life. Looking forward to buying a copy of your book! Congratulations and safe travels on your tour.
Leslie W.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see you will be stopping in Charlotte. Looking forward to hearing you speak about your book!
When will you be in Boston??
Excited you will be coming to Austin!
come to boston! woohoo
You should totally come back down to the Tampa area! We would love to have you!!
Come to Chicago!
Come to Boston please!!
Yay for Santa Rosa! I’ll be there!
Come to Tampa!!
Oregon, OR EEEE GOOOOON, ! You know you want to
After Austin, I vote you make a short detour to Dallas. I’d love to meet you!
I wish you were coming to Vermont!
Come to south Florida please!!!!!
Jenna, I’ll be in Atlanta that day however I’m attending Savvy Blogging Summit at the W. If you are going to be close and want to meet up later that night, say 9 PM for dessert/drink, my treat, let me know.
Congrats on your book! Ever since I met you in Chicago many moons ago it seems, I knew you would go BIG. You are awesome. I can’t wait to grab a copy for myself.
Thank you, Angie!! I’ll be with my mom that night, so not sure if I can sneak away late but you are sweet to offer and if something comes up I will definitely let you know!
NYC? Please! Congrats, girl, enjoy every second of it!
Any chance you’ll be visiting NYC? I’d love to meet you!
Hopefully sometime soon! I would love to visit!!
The coolest bookstore that ever existed used to be in Opera Plaza. ‘A Clean and Well-Lighted Place for Books’. Seriously one of my favorite places in SF while living there 20-years. Friends and I would go to lunch across the way on a rainy day. Browse in the store all day–pre whatever author talk was scheduled. They had great ones. Then go to an art film also in the Opera Plaza. Perfect days.
Wow! Copperfield’s is right down the street from where I work, and you’ll be there half an hour after I get off! No excuse to not stop by and say hello!
Can I cast a vote for Seattle?! Congratulations
Congratulations on the release of your book!! I’ve seen a few comments made about it on some of my favourite blogs and the reviews are all glowingly positive
….I’m thinking some tour dates should be booked for Canada??? Just sayin’ …. I’d come to see you
CONGRATS, Jenna! You SO deserve this!!! OMG, there’s a chance I might get to come to one of your book signings! I would LOVE to have my pic made with you!!!! If you’ll be doing that kind of thing.
*hugs*
Congratulations! Can’t wait to read it and can’t wait to see you in Birmingham.
Congrats on your book Jenna! I’ll be ordering it this weekend and I can’t wait to read it! Any chance of an East Coast leg of the tour?
Ok so I am thinking about removing my site from Tumbler and get it to a WordPress site. I think this is a wordpress site right? If it is, may I ask where you got the theme? Thanks a bunch!
Come to NOLA!!!!! You’re going to pass right over us, and that is just a shame!! Besides, it’s quite lovely here in October… It’s finally cooled off !! My fingers are crossed
I wish you could make it to Washington DC! You’ll be so close in NC!!
Aww wish you were coming to Boca Raton, FL – it’s a great place to visit!!
Very exciting you have so many book tour dates, wish some of them were close enough for me to make it. I was just in NC for a week, shoot.
Have a great time!!
All my best, Pam
Any chance you could come to San Diego? It’s just lovely this time of year.
No D.C.?!!! We are a foodie and book city, how can you not come here:(
NYC is calling your name! Please come?
Jenna- I just finished your book and I loved it. I was curious to read it since I have read ELR for a few years. To be honest, I did not expect to love the book and I was pleasantly surprised as I read the first few pages. You have a great gift for telling a story and I look forward to reading your future books:) Congrats!
Plleeeeeeease come to Minneapolis! I would absolutely love to meet you in person
Congratulations on your amazing book! I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed curling up with a book and some tea so much as I did reading White Jacket Required. Thank you for telling your story so beautifully and so honestly.
Wishing you all the best,
Natalie
I am ordering your book today and can’t wait to read it! I have followed your blog for a few years. Congratulations on your book! If you come through Denver I will be at your signing for sure!
Come to Richmond, VA. Pretty please!
Austin is two hours away but I will be there!! So excited for you!
Jenna!
NYC would love to see you here! Hope you can make it. Thanks for sharing your recipes and stories on your blog. I love them!
Do you think you will make it to New England? Like Boston??
Adored the book, just finished it. Would love for you to come by South Florida also (waiting in Miami).
Jenna, you are such a wonderful person. You know in your heart that you MUST come to Orlando! See you soon (I hope!)
