Jenna,
can you please please share the coding (or the site where you found) for the on your bookshelf gadget? I would LOVE to add it to my blog!
Speaking of my blog, now that you’re home and back to cooking and baking, I’ve got a MUST TRY recipe I posted today. I’m pretty sure you’d love it!!

it’s a gallery plug-in…I need to check on what it’s called exactly!
Jenna, your photographs are amazing…and I love your hair…and I want one of those salted caramels right about NOW! Thanks for sharing your adventure with us 🙂
Love the pics! My husband and I also took a weekend trip – down to San Diego. We just moved to northern California in September, and we’re having a great time exploring this state!
My fiance and I just had to cancel our big honeymoon this week due to finances and instead decided to spend four nights in Monterey/Carmel. Looking through your pictures has made me so much more excited for it! Thanks for sharing and igniting my excitement!
It dawned on me last night, when I was watching “What Happens In Vegas,” that you totally look like Cameron Diaz. You probably get that a lot, but I thought I’d share my revelation, haha.
You’ve conveyed the mystical ambiance of Carmel more than any other photographs I’ve seen. Just breathtaking. And the feeling of living history here. Love the seagulls so much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDbToBxhZUo

The seagull shots are my favorite too! You have become such a talented photographer, Jenna!
I LOVE your photographs and always look forward to these photo recaps from your trips, etc. It is a bit slow to click through the full size images (not sure if there is any way around that…besides speed my connection somehow!?) but otherwise, I love the way you are able to present all your amazing shots on the blog this way.
awesome photo’s. and pretty good lookin guy!
thanks for sharing!!

I can’t believe you went to Casanova! I worked there for about a year before I went to culinary school, so it holds a very special place in my heart.
And good choice on the gnocchi, it’s a signature on the menu and fun to make :). Did you get to see the van gogh table and/or wine cellar while you were there?

Do you have any idea how to make that Gnocchi – It is by far my most favorite out to eat treat – we just came from Carmel this weekend – had it for lunch on Friday and am determined to learn how to make it.
Jenna,
Your pictures are gorgeous! You may have a future career in photography on the side.
I have my Savannah wellness blog up and running….finally! Go check it out if you get a moment. ***Send it to your parents…I’ll be posting lots of local food/wellness events there. 🙂 Hope to catch up with you next time you get back down south.

Hi Jenna – I’m trying to figure out why I dislike my camera so much (Nikon D80), I’m starting to think it’s the lens I’m using. Your photos are really great, what kind of camera + lens did you use for these? I think I need something like an f/ 1.4, perhaps.
Thanks!
jenna
February 1, 2011 at 4:21 pm
thank you! A Nikon D80 is a GREAT camera though!!! I use a Canon Rebel Xsi and often a variety of lenses….I think we used a combination of my 60 mm macro lens, an f/1.4 and a 17-200 zoom lens for these photos.
How did you like Casanova?! I’m planning a trip out that way to see my brother and when I was searching restaurants that one was at the top of my list!!
