Whewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Things got a little crazy this afternoon in the park. We tried really hard to be normal but….it’s hard.
This is how I prefer to wear my hair when I go out. If you didn’t know already, this style was just featured in the latest issue of Vogue.
That was a little better.
Clearly it was a fashion show.
And lunch, obviously, was amazing. Sabrina took us to DeBruno’s and I almost freaked with all the options! In the end, I chose three little dishes from the hot bar.
Two little grape leaves:
Gigantic beans in tomato sauce:
And some roasted veggies.
After lunch we walked 5000 blocks to Phileo frozen yogurt (actually we walked four blocks and then took a cab but that just sounded cooler). It was so awesome to meet some of y’all and I was so excited we had such a great turnout!
I then stole a baby.
He’s coming back to California with me…..his mother told me it was fine.
Okay fine. I put him back where I found him. Happy now?

Babies. Amazing. For like, five minutes and then I definitely want to give them back! Oops.
Looks like you’re having so much fun — giant beans and stuffed grape leaves both look amazing! Please find the place I had a mojito when I was there and get one…it was life changing. Just need to remember the name of it now…small details!
You guys are too funny with the jumping pictures!

A related post at the bottom of this one shows you with shorter hair – I love your hair now – but I think you’d look really awesome with it chin-length too !! Either way you win

haha that baby has got an expression huh!? Adorable.
I now want to go to Philly. The husband says no……….so we settled on Boston.
OWWW. . . Love the baby, I want one (in 6 to 10 years when I am settled and married!)
You can take Mason anytime you want! He’s very good and will know how to do dishes and laundry in about 10 years. Good deal, no? It was great meeting you today! I think I need to lay off feeding Mason carrots, because his nose is as orange as his hair in these pictures!
Very cute pix–what a fun day! Can’t resist babies or dogs, either.
um, i know that baby! that’s my friend sadye’s adorable son!!!
Hahahaha, oh my goodness! What red hair he has!
I love the group pictures
And I’m sure the baby would have loved it in California.
That baby ginger is seriously the cutest thing ever! You should have kept the little guy! Glad you had fun at Phileo

It was so nice to meet you today!!! I wish I hadn’t had to run so soon but I’m still happy to have met you. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip! Come back to Philly soon
Awwwww the baby is precious!!!
even that babies nose is orange. adorableeeee
It was so great to meet you today! Wish we could have had more time (or at least a place to sit!…next time
) I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend here!
Glad it was a fun meet up! Cute baby! I’d steal him too.
Luckily my niece and nephew are 7 months old and I can steal them anytime I want to. =)
I’ve never actually thought about ever visiting Philadelphia, but from the pictures it sure does look like a beautiful city.
Do you do much to your hair as far as styling goes? I think your cut is cute and I am thinking about having something similar (with bangs) but I’m a “wake-up, brush hair and go” type of girl.. I don’t use any products besides shampoo and conditioner!
I am so glad you are having the great opportunity to experience Philadelphia! Today as Bolt Bus jetted me across the Ben Franklin bridge I realized how much I miss Philadelphia. I moved to NYC a year ago and while it has it’s perks it definitely doesn’t have the Rocky Steps, Boathouse Row, BYOB restaurants, or Sabrina!
Have fun!!
Had to add these librarians doing Lady Gaga. Cute & funny.

That baby is ADORABLE! Looks like you ladies are having so much fun! Can’t wait to see all of your adventures this weekend! ENJOY!
Hmm . . . it could have been entertaining if you had kept him
But he probably would have missed his mama eventually. Looks like you guys are having a blast!
lovely dress! looks like it has all my favourite colours in it. the grape leaves look yummy.
awww that baby is absolutely precious!
Haha! My fiance always says I’m going to be a baby-stealer b/c I’m always talking and playing with random babies. I just love babies, even the furry kind.
It looks like you guys had so much fun! Would have loved to meet you!
The jumpy pictures are so classic. =] My friends and I do them too!
Welcome to Philly!! I’ve lived here all my life, but last weekend was the first time I ever went to DeBrunos! It’s amazing in there! Soooo many choices.
Cute jumping pictures!! That dress is adorable – as is the baby. Glad you guys had a good time:)
hahah so fun/cute!
Love the pictures & I have to agree, your dress is super cute. I am so jealous I couldn’t be at the reader-meet-up!! Did you guys feel like celebrities?
