Today I got back to my roots.

What can I say? I saw the dough and went for it.

NO ONE MOVE! I’VE GOT THIS.
I hate to say it, but Anne was clearly trying to steal my thunder….look at her devious smile, plotting to take over the dough.

I took the job of homemade sweet potato ravioli very seriously. Very, very, very seriously.

June 5, 2010 at 7:13 pmToo, TOO funny!! Looks like a terrific time and photos!!
I came back tonight from long walk on Carmel Beach loaded with FANTASTIC New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from local Southern Latitudes Wine Shop was prepared to savor–ultimate pairings in my head. Neighbors all on deck-so shared the wine with them and their guests. Everyone Up-In-Arms over Gulf Oil Armageddon….so the wine came in handy. Comments about BP unprintable. And no wine left for me with food. But–oh well. Saved me calories and I did my good deed bringing balms to the afflicted!!
Off to cook sans wine!!

June 5, 2010 at 11:21 pmThis looks like fun! . . . On the fish oil note, Mom (an M.D.) started giving to to me a couple of years ago. The biggest difference that I noticed was my mood change. After a month or so, I felt happier and more lively. Also, my skin has benefited and is less break-out prone.

June 6, 2010 at 4:43 amThat ravioli looks aMAZing. I really need to get me one of those pasta press thingies one of these days. I’ve done ok with a rolling pin and enough time for an upper-body workout so far, but that gets old.
