I’m in Phoenix!
Talk about a whirlwind. I got home Monday night around 10pm, dumped out all my smelly camping clothes all over the floor, repacked my suitcase with conference clothes, slept at home and then was on my way early yesterday morning. Don’t mind the fact that I haven’t had time to do laundry for the past three weeks, have about 200 emails in my inbox, and have melted sea salt chocolate all over the bottom of my purse.
I’m going to a conference this week put on by Thermador, to test cook in their new and innovative steam ovens. I headed to the Southwest a day early though to visit one of my best friends, Molly, and explore Scottsdale a bit since I’ve never been.

You look lovely with brown hair
Your pizza looks DELICIOUS!! I love shrimp on everything, but hubby’s allergic so I don’t get to eat it as much as I like.
Always on the go, eh?
That pizza looks delish btw! Never had shrimps on a pizza before .. must try!
Phoenix definitely has great food…now if only they had better weather!
Girlie…it doesn’t matter what color your hair is! You’re gorgeous no matter what! You could have pink hair and still rock it.

I love pizza!
Have fun in Phoenix.
I love places like that were it’s fresh food, you would think that would be the norm, but it’s not.
Think you’ll be doing any meet ups in PHX? I know of the best frozen yogurt spot in the history of the world…
I wish I had more time!! This is such a quick trip so no meet ups this time…sorry!
Manchego makes everything better!
You live a whirlwind life
Have a great time!
I love edamame in unexpected dishes, those dumplings look great!
After reading your blog, I have decided that West coast eats > east coast
Yeah, I’d be beat. Have fun though. At least it’s dry heat. Over here on the East Coast we’re stuck with heat plus insane humidity. Our collective hairs are crying Uncle.
Those drinks look absolutely amazing. Your life has definitely been a whirlwind recently, but a fun one! Enjoy Pheonix!
I’ve never been to Pheonix…can’t wait to get a glimpse of it through you!

Jenna, Do you wear sunscreen? You seem very fair skinned and was just wondering.
I do.
I live in Phoenix, and you should check out the Daily Dose in Scottsdale. Best veggie burger EVER. Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix have lots of wonderful restaurants and boutiquey shops!
I love how you can just get up and go like that! So exciting.
Welcome to Phoenix! True Foods is seriously the best. I hope you wondered next door and had some mojo yogurt!
Hope you have a great time!!
Wow that restaurant looks delicious! Especially the edamame dumplings!
Maybe your blog should be called “Eat Live Travel” ; ) Have fun in the desert, my dear!
That food looks so good! I wish we had better restaurant selections in my area.
In case you need any further dining recommendations, there is a lovely little restaurant called Cibo you might want to check out. Excellent salads and pizza and antipasti and…I’ll stop. http://www.cibophoenix.com/
Enjoy your time here in AZ! The weather has actually cooled off a bit this week – I swear that 105 with no humidity really can be pleasant!
AHH! Cibo is amazing! PHX represent.
I second the idea of Cibo. Represent woot!
Mmmm…Cibo.
Have y’all tried Parlor yet? Also incredible. Especially outside, under the misters, with white wine.
Mm, that gazpacho really does look amazing! I just had one that used almonds as a base. I was a little skeptical but it was absolutely delicious! That True Food place looks pretty cool, though
Have so much fun in Arizona! Can’t wait to read more about it!

I’ve never thought to put shrimp on pizza…it looks interesting.
I could so use one of those drinks right now! Maybe it would cure my headache
Hi Jenna! You’re photos from the hike are amazing~ I know you’ve answered this before, but what kind of camera do you have? Also, what lenses do you typically use for your food photos? Hope you’re having fun in AZ.
I have a Canon Rebel but those photos from the hike were taken with Adam’s Canon EOS 7D
Ha! True Food rocks! It’s pretty close to my office and my house so we go there often. I actually emailed Tina @ CNC a list of my recommendations and that definitely made the list.
That food looks amazing…. those cocktails look even MORE amazing!
No freakin’ way, lady! I went to C of C, too! I graduated in 2008. You? Fantastic photos! Enjoy Phoenix!

“The edamame dumplings and a pizza with fresh pesto, goat cheese and shrimp.” Are you serious. I am so jealous of your taste buds it’s not even funny.
Welcome to AZ!! Let me know if you end up having an impromptu bloggie meet-up
LOVE true food kitchen and all of the fox restaurants! Next time you’d really like Olive and Ivy by the same restauranteur.
