I just got back from a 48 hour outdoor music festival….I need a shower, a bed and a bucket full of hand sanitizer, stat. Be back in the morning for a full and dirty recap!
oh my gosh, jenna, that’s sooooo cool! me too! (sorry, getting overly excited here, lol!) 🙂 i went to boomtown fair (here in england) with my boyfriend Tom and, oh my gosh, the toilets…wow. i have no words, lol! 😛 but dude, the FUN!!! Tom and cosy camping and amazing food and all-day-all-night dancing and heaps of live music and gorgeous national park setting = sooooo very awesome, i just felt so incredibly alive and happy and thankful the whole weekend! 😀 can’t wait to hear all your tales and see the no doubt gorgeous pictures! Big smiles and best wishes for a beautiful day! yolie x
Ooooh…I know what that’s all about. No showers…yeah, not so fun. But the other fun outweighs the dirty stuff…well, kind of.
Usually, the food is interesting, if nothing else!
My brother ALWAYS goes to music festivals like that. Whenever he comes home, my mom is ready with plastic bags to put all of his stuff in until it’s in the washing machine!
You can just ignore that comment. I got my dates mixed up :/
But OL2010 had an amazing lineup from what I remember seeing. Cat Power? TPC? The Strokes?! SO glad you had a great time!
lol. You have more guts than me. I cannot spend that long without my modern amenties even for music. There’s a possibility that I could do that for food, but then my stomach can only hold so much, anyway. :p
Ahhh! I so want to go to Coachella 2011. I think it would be so much fun…although, not showering & playing a a muddy field all day would lead to one smelly Maura, for sure!
can’t wait to hear about the festival! so jealous!
also really glad to hear you won’t be doing any more product reviews…i go to food blogs for the recipes (that are usually hidden every couple of posts) and i get really tired of all the product placements. i’ve noticed the recent focus on more recipes on your site and it’s been great! keep it up 🙂

hope you had fun! i went to a phish concert this weekend…i felt the exact same way after haha.
Ohhhh man, I’m so jealous! Sounds like a fabulous time. Golden Gate park is magnificent in and of itself, through in a music festival and it’s a champagne jam.
Looks like fun, and I love Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes!
I’ve been to Coachella and Lollapalooza this year, so I know just the scene you’re talking about. Those were my first major music festivals and I’m hooked, loved them!
The sunglasses picture is awesome! Did Almanzo take that? It’s so cool.
