Can’t wait! Looks like you got all the good stuff though …currently deciding wheather or not to do a post about this soup I am about to make…. I need some blogging inspiration !? Been almost a month since I’ve posted… YIKES.
Eeeee! While I gaze lovingly at most of you sweets, it’s savory that will get me actually cooking. I’ve never had much of a sweet tooth, but something salty and cheesy… that’s worth losing your composure over.
I am such a fan of that phrase! I used to hear it all the time from my mom when I was growing up (is that weird?), and in college I also became a fan of “push your skirt down” when telling myself/someone else to just deal with it:)
Yeah this was supposed to be a savory week for me too… until yesterday, when I caved and ate half of a huge package of gummi worms. That’s what deprivation does to you.
Love it! Can’t wait to see what you have in store. I’m finding myself in a full mix of savory and sweet this week. One minute I’m making a big vegan soup or Indian meal, the next I’m popping homemade chocolate pastries in the oven.
I don’t usually post but I had a quick question. When you go grocery shopping do you already have recipes in mind or do you just pick up soome things and see what come up with?
i’ve gotta tell you, i love your normal sweet recipes, but i cannot wait for the savory ones. i don’t make desserts often – it’s a willpower thing. but i have a feeling your savory recipes will be good ones. i can’t wait!
I’m moving up from Orange County to Humboldt this weekend and will be passing through Healdsburg on Monday. Thinking about stopping at Cafe Gratitude for lunch before finishing my journey north. Would love your company (I believe you’ve mentioned being around there?), if you’re not took sketched out by this randomness!
Let me know if you want to plan anything. My email is heatherezell@gmail.com. It’d be an honor to share a table with you! I’ve been a regular reader since 2008.
hi! I definitely still do meet-ups; I just haven’t had the opportunity to do one in awhile. I don’t think I can go all the way to healdsburg on Monday though (it’s about 30 minutes away), but if you’re in Santa Rosa, I’d love to meet you!
Actually, Santa Rosa is equally on the way! I think I’ll Santa Rosa late morning/early afternoon, depending on when I wake up.
I also can do Thursday eveningish if Monday doesn’t work, as I’m going to be staying somewhere in the area that night (I have a flight out of Oakland the next afternoon). Maybe I’ll stay in Santa Rosa?

Looks like you got some awesome loot at the grocery store! Can’t wait to see what you come up with.
Thank God for savory food. I’ve been making desserts all day and if I take another ounce of sugar in I’m going to need to be put in a straitjacket.
Need someone to take some of that cheese off your hands?
sure! come on over! i raised some eyebrows in the check-out line..that’s for sure!
What types of cheeses do you go for? Love, love, love cheese!
Oh but Jenna – don’t you know that savory dishes must be followed by sweets! So the baking is a necessity
all of them!! I especially love brie, goat cheese and extra sharp cheddar cheese!
GOAT CHEESE for sure! Love them all though too – mozzarella and cream cheese count right?
What in the world are going to do with all that cheese?
Bring me some cookies! lol!
Cheeese! Yes! haha
I’m from Wisconsin……so if that cheese is involved in next week’s activities, then I’m all in!
love,
cathy b. @ brightbakes
Looks like its going to be a cheese bonanza! Which is in fact one of the best kind of bonanzas to have…
That pile of cheese is very exciting:-)
Can’t wait! Looks like you got all the good stuff though

Yay! I’m excited! Can’t wait to make my own huge trip to TJ’s once Winter Break (sadly) comes to an end.
This is the first week I haven’t posted sweets. It won’t last for long-my sweet tooth is too strong:)
Oh, Jenna. How I’d love to be your neighbor. You can’t possibly eat all this by yourself…
I so wish we had a TJ’s in Oklahoma! Silly liquor laws!
But at least we have a Whole Foods
Jenna,
Your cheese picture cracks me up. That’s what my cart looks like every time I’m at Trader Joes! My name is Lisa, and I have a cheese addiction…
Oooo, cheese! I’m a huge fan, of course! Glad to see you love it as well:)
such a funny title; great draw to the blog!

Hi there,
I don’t usually post but I had a quick question. When you go grocery shopping do you already have recipes in mind or do you just pick up soome things and see what come up with?
I should probably make more savory recipes, too. But baking’s just so much more fun!
Took the words right out of my mouth
awesome!
Take off the Girl Scout Brownie Skirt right!
Mmmmm love all that cheese!
You’re just cute as can be. Now hand over the Wisconsin Cheddar.
Mmmmm, cheese!
Looks like its going to be a delicious week!

Can’t wait. Bring it on. Will there be cocktails accompanying the recipes? The blackberry margaritas were a big hit on New Years.
Oh snap! Can’t wait for some savory recipes!!!
All that cheese looks DEEEEEElicious!!! Oh my goodness. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you’re making with it
I have a delicious savory recipe with cream cheese on my blog right now!
i just polished off a bag of savory pretzels. i need savory week in my life!
LOL! The amount of cheese makes the savory week look very appealing, though!
Do you still do reader meet ups?

Done
Hey Jenna, do you drink green monsters (with or without amazing grass) anymore??
No…but I might in the summer! Right now it’s just too cold for smoothies for breakfast! I usually eat a cinnamon raisin bagel instead.
No No, raisins!?!!??! ha Ha
Yum, I can’t see what you come up with! Looks like you have quite the haul of cheese so I am sure that whatever it is is going to be delish!
i’m totally happy to see all that CHEESE!!!
