You are probably wondering why I am posting so early! Well, it’s because I have had a killer migraine since I woke up this morning and, as a result, had to leave work incredibly early today. 🙁 No fun at all. I’ve done every one of my usual migraine fixes but nothing is working today and I still have that screaming in my head. Bah!
This morning I had a bowl of oatmeal to get my day started. I used 1/2 cup oats, 1 cup silk, 1 banana, 1 spoonful peanut butter, some dried cherries and a sprinkle of gingerbread sugar 😉
And for a mid-morning snack, a z-bar with pineapple!
I had a delicious lunch today, thinking it would help me feel better….but nope 🙁 I grilled my turkey/provolone sandwich (on protein bread) at work and it got all melty and delicious. I also had another cup of the fabulous tomato basil soup from work. Sometimes I think it helps being the only girl there! I can talk my way into soup!
Unfortunately, I started to feel reaaaally sick after I ate and went home shortly. No fun. No fun at all.
My tummy is kind of upset because of my head but I was hungry anyways so I made a soothing snack: a half cup of oikos and a pear:
Really, nothing major went on a work today….I felt so awful yet tried to suck it up and in the end, I just couldn’t swing it. I did bake some mini whoopie pies though. They are about the size of a quarter!
No workout today. I debated going for a beach walk, got dressed for it and then both my head and my tummy said no way. So…I think I might go lay down again. Thanks for sticking with me! Its just been a rough day, physically as well as emotionally. I know everyone has ’em though so its alright!
