Heyo!
Another fun raffle to benefit Livestrong headed your way!!!
How cute are these cycling hats? Lucie, the same gal that makes the super cute headbands, makes these and sells them at the yoga studio I work at. Basically, Lucie goes to all these thrift shops around Sonoma County and finds awesome fabric to make the coolest things ever with. Seriously, she is so crafty. These hats are made from vintage fabric and are meant to be worn underneath your helmet while you ride. They help shade your face from the sun and just look darn cute. I think you could ever wear them as is…forget the bike.
They retail at $30 each but Lucie has generously donated two for me to raffle off. It’s going to be basically the same deal as before:
- $5 gets you ONE raffle ticket.
- $10 gets you TWO raffle tickets.
- $15 gets you FOUR raffle tickets!!!
- Submit your payment on the Echelon Gran Fondo website – HERE.
- I will be picking two winners at random on Wednesday (3/24) evening
Breakfast was pretty standard—your basic oatmeal with peanut butter.

Nothing too terribly special, but very tasty!
I’m at the yoga studio till around 12:30. See you tonight

Super cute hats! Hope you have a great yoga session!
i adore oats and peanut butter…there’s a reason they’re the standard, right?! those hats are SO CUTE
makes me wish I was a cyclist…
Those cycling hats are adorable!
Sweet hats!
Those hats are so cute And I did my spring cleaning yesterday!
My mum hasn’t been able to do her spring hoovering since christmas!! Our hoover broke, and they keep saying ‘we’ll send you another by x y z’ and they keep forgetting – she’s so angry!
Random, but true….
I’m always impressed by people who find such good cloth at goodwill. I go to goodwill, but I just don’t have imagination or time it takes to get the right finds to make cute stuff. That’s why she can charge $30 to get one I guess.
Adorable hats!! I’m still dying for one of the headbands…
And I’m super impressed by Lucie as I’m the least craftiest person EVER.
Oats and pb are the best!
Oh my goodness those hats are adorable!

I love simple oats!!! Sometimes, they are just what we need, eh?
Those hats are a really great idea, and they look cute too!
I should get something like that for my rides!
hey, does she have an etsy or sell the hats and bands on line at all? i’m a cyclist too, but i don’t have a hat. if i’m gonna shell out big bucks, i’d rather support an artist over nashbar.com. :p
I think we need a picture of you modeling the hats! (so that I can truly understand their cuteness).
Adorable hats. Simple can be the best!
Awesome hats!
You have to post a picture of yourself with one on. I cant quite picture what they will look like on. I am sure they are cute but would love a visual.
I definitely love love love the headbands. I am so impressed by people who can sew. People often make comments to me about painting but I cant even wrap my head around sewing or writing music for that matter!!
Hope you have a great day!!
Steph

Oats & PB is so basic but so satisfying!
Love the basic oats and PB! I might would have to add in some banana too, though:)
The hats are so cute! You make me want to take a break from running and take up biking.
Hey Jenna! I’m a long time reader and lurker, but a sparse commenter! I think I’ve said this before but your views on food and life are just so refreshing and inspiring to me. I’m actually hoping to one day be a writer as well. I’m actually wondering if you could possibly answer a question for me. I’m 19 and realizing that what I want to do is not in college (I want to be a comedy writer/actor and work in an improvisational acting troupe, like SNL) and not here in Florida (I go to school in Sarasota) and am actually fixing to drop out of school, take my saved up money and move to Chicago by the end of next month. I’m absolutely excited but terrified. I know I’m doing the right thing (I’ve had waaaaay too many creepy signs! God is such a comedian with those things!) but am wondering if you by chance had any advice on this, especially since you just moved out to California and got a new job and are fixing to move once more to Paris. I’d love any advice you have to offer! Thank you so much for inspiring me to go do EXACTLY what I want to do (finally!)
