Oh wow! My husband and I just moved to NorCal 4 weeks ago (Davis, in the Sacramento area), and while everyone keeps telling us that we must go to Tahoe, I had NO IDEA how amazing it is! We went to San Fran last weekend (and must go back ASAP — too much to do!), but I think Tahoe needs to be bumped higher to our to-do list. Your video is really incredible, thanks for sharing!

I agree. Valuable info. bit on Tahoe! Thanks. Haven’t moved to CA yet, but would like to eventually.
I love that you said – “yet”…I always think these things would be impossible…well, because I’d need a job of course there ;)…but it’s nice to think it could be possible.
Mari,
I also live in Sonoma County…you’ll never get bored in northern CA! There are more pretty places to see and fun things to do than you can imagine….welcome! 🙂

I live in Davis too! It’s a great town and a great jumping off point for some local adventures!
I was in Tahoe a few weeks ago and it snowed almost every day! It was cold, but I have never seen such beautiful mountains. I hope I can go back some day when it’s warmer.
You and Adam are SOOOO talented. Love it. Famed (Harvard/American) expert Italian art historian Bernard Berenson lived in Florence most of his life and said that ‘You can never really know Italy.’ I’ve lived in California all of my life—Santa Barbara, Carmel, San Francisco…and have been everywhere in the Golden State…but no, can never fully know her. But Adam has really captured the essence (for me) in 50 secs. Bravo! And thanks….
Gorgeous! I love California though it is just so pretty with great weather. I wish I could afford to move out there myself, but my chickenness wins out! Bummer because I think it would be amaaaazing to run in! Cool treatment to the photos too!
I have never actually explored Tahoe except in the winter time when it’s covered with snow. this makes me want to head out to the lake now and enjoy the clear blue waters. 😀 i especially loved the dog jumping off the dock at the end.
