Happy Sunday!
I was so tired last night that I went to bed at 9:30! It was awesome. Didn’t end up working out yesterday…think I’m just going to take it easy and then kick myself back into gear next week. For a snack, I had the last two SCM cookies—
And then I actually went out wine tasting and then to Diavola for dinner with some friends. I haven’t been wine tasting in awhile and it was fun!
And gosh, I do love me some Diavola pizza.
The four of us shared this pork belly/goat cheese (cha cha cha!) and margarita pizza (I had three slices) and also some gnocchi, beet salad and a bottle of wine.
Corey finally got to experience pork belly perfection (her and her husband are visiting from San Diego)! For some reason it looks like I don’t have eyes in this picture, just black holes in my head? Hmm
And then literally, I crashed into bed at 9:30 because I’m just that cool.
More cereal with almond milk for breakfast!
Am I on a roll or what?! Again, puffins, Ezekiel, granola. Mmm mmm MMM
I’m going to make some tea and read for a little while, methinks! See you later!

Yummy pizza! Your hair looks good too. I’m trying to grow mine out! I think it’s kinda fun to go through breakfast phases- I had a combo cereal bowl of Life, Kashi Honey Sunshine, and Shredded Wheat before work all week and now I’ve had peanut butter french toast the past 2 days!
someone said on your charity blog that your bike and equipment were donated???? That can’t be the case since you would need a sponsor and being a non-biker I don’t think anyone would do this. They must have this info wrong. My son has participated in many charity events and this is not even up for discussion, and he’s raised thousands of $$.
I am not an animal parts fan and haven’t eaten meat in months but you sure make that pizza sound GOOD!! You look beautiful, Jenna and so do your eyes! It’s just the lighting
I was rummaging around a book store today…I thought of you.
I picked up ‘In Defense of Food’…I am excited to read it.
You could totally go into the world of restaurant reviewer- you do a great job on here!
Pizza looks yum! I went to bed at 9:30 as well, it was great!
YUMMM still wanting that pork belly pizza!
And I need to make those cookies again soon!!

Last night I went to bed super early too. I really belive we must honor ourselves and not work out when needed and sleep alot as well!
LOL– I KNEW you’d have pork belly soon! That’s too funny.
Looks like a great meal with friends!
Pork belly?? Ballsy.
Those pizzas always look scrumptious!
Hooray for a great meal with friends
I loooove pork belly. I would love to try this pizza you have been raving about!
Everyone has been flaunting those cookies; I need to make myself a batch!
That pizza looks SO good! I haven’t had a good slice in a while, I should venture out soon (luckily, I have lots of choices here in Brooklyn)
Have a great day!
I’ve been eating millet toast with almond butter for breakfast lately! And as someone else stated, I think you would make a GREAT restaurant reviewer!
Glad you took the day off from exercise! You need time to, well…rest!
I crashed into bed around 10pm so don’t feel too bad! The pizza looks amazing!
I agree with Katie – you would be an excellent Restaurant reviewer! You really do make me want to taste the screen haha!
Have a great day!
It makes it sound like you drank an entire bottle of wine yourself, but I’m sure that’s not the case =) Have a relaxing Sunday!
gnocchi are my favorite! yum.
I made a huge bowl of oats this morning, just what was needed since it was like 10 degrees outside!
That pizza looks out of this world! Especially the crust of the margarita pizza… looks all doughy and chewy and yummy!!!!
Thanks you, I now have a puddle of drool on my desk. Those photos are awesome! Glad you had a good time!
I would faint in the presence of pork belly pizza!! Why oh why can’t I live in California too? Oh well, I’m happy to eat vicariously through you. Enjoy your Sunday!
Pork belly sounds intriguing! You get to go to the best restaurants! Lucky duck!
I love the goat! Makes my world go round- looks like a great night- anything with wine is a great night in my opinion- I’m just that easy to please.. have a great sunday-
have you gotten back on the saddle yet?
That meal looks amazing! I’ve never eaten pork belly…I’m not much of a pork fan but those pictures and your descriptions made me want to try it!
I just got my Tevana giveaway and I LOVE it! You were so right, loose leaf is the best and the orange/green tea combination is awesome.
Those pizzas look farmilliar! They must be awesome.
I love random or gourmet pizza toppings. That pizza looks great.
And enjoy your few days off of training and get back at it monday.
i’m starting to think you have “stock” in this pork belly business…:) I want me some!
Where did you get that yellow bowl?? I love the set you use and want to purchase some
I think when I make it back to wine country, Diavola is my first stop for a little cha cha cha! I always drool when you talk about that pizza!!
Yum the pork belly and goat cheese pizza once again! Yay for catching up on your zzz’s.
I love looking at pictures of your awesome dinners! I’m a big fan of gnocchi – my mom makes it only once a year and now I’m going to dream about it after seeing your meal (wow, you know you’re a foodie when…)
I have been listening to Cleaving on my commute this past week and when she was talking about the pork bellies, I totally thought of you
If I ever see pork belly on a menu, I’m going to grab that stuff up. I just can’t even imagine what it might taste like!
Pork belly on pizza!? Sounds amazing!
Going to sleep early is such a great feeling some night, it’s hard to resist.
Pizza, wine, and gnocchi? I could do that for a living
Early nights are so my style. Lots of sleep is good for you!
Those pizzas are making me crave dinner already…Healdsburg’s food seems so amazing!
It’s not even 10 and I think I am gonna crash too….. Guess I’m cool too…
Pizza looks divine!!!
Oh that dinner looks so so good!!!!
All of your dinner sides look amazing, that beet salad and gnocchi in particular. You know, I understand that NYC likes to tout that it has the best pizza…but California was the absolute best gourmet pizza. Hands down. NYC slices are merely ideal when you’re on the go and need to slap some grease in your face.
I crashed about the same time you did last night, we’re both awesome Grandmas.
That pizza looks delicious. Dinner is too far away
Mmm pork belly sounds great! I’ve never had it. Sometimes I love going to be early on a weekend night, it means you get so much more done the next day.
aagh those pics of pizza make me die. i’m craving some SO badly right now ha
That cookie looks amaaaaaazing. I bought a tub of spelt cookies at Earth Fare and they are quickly diminishing.
Those cookies look UNREAL!
i am always so jealous of the places you dine! i need to get my butt to cali asap for some restaurant visiting!
This product has been a HUGE HIT for marathon runners-thought I’d share!

I’d love to get your thoughts!
Lots of good eats. Love your pictures and now I want some cookies!
Ha ha ha…I was in bed by about 9:15 last night. We are a couple of wild women…!
I had pork belly tapas a Jose Garces restaurant in Chicago last weekend and they literally melted in my mouth. I can’t imagine how good they would taste on pizza though!!
I need to try to recreate that pizza… every time I see it on here my mouth waters!
Every time you mention pork belly, I want some … and I don’t even like pork!
tea and reading and a bed?
sounds good to me.
lovin’ the pizza – one of them would be all mine!
Jenna, I made those SCM cookies today and handed one to my husband straight out of the oven without any sort of ingredient history. He loved them! They’re SO good and so filling!
Pizza looks super good!
i’ve gotta find somewhere here that has pork belly so i can try my hand at that pizza…it just always looks/sounds SO GOOD!
That gnocchi looks amazing! I love wine tastings soooo fun!
Hi Jenna,
I’ve been reading your blog for a while now and really enjoy it. It’s so funny b/c every now and then people pop up in your blog that I am pretty sure I went to school with. Seems like you are hanging out with a few different Aggies. I could be wrong, but Corey looks very familiar from all my business and marketing classes! And Adam too. Anyway, thanks for giving me something to look forward to reading during the day!
Lindsey
The SCM cookies look so good – how exactly do you make them?
