Behind The Butter

the wind blew south

….and I landed in Savannah!

The whole “going to Tahoe” thing was a total fib. I won’t say lie because I told you guys I was going on a church retreat and I can’t put “lie” and “church” in the same sentence. It’s just wrong. What I really did was take a red eye on Saturday night to surprise my mom on Mother’s Day morning.

I love my mom. She lets me borrow her shoes! She also has an ipad and I do not, which automatically makes her cooler than me. And when I’m home, she draws me extra hot bubble baths, fluffs my pillows and brings me tea in bed.

She’s pretty awesome.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mamas out there. All of your love, compassion and supreme pillow fluffing skills are not taken for granted.
