1. Thanksgiving swap recipes now have their very own home! See the new Thanksgiving Recipe Swap page header at the top of this site? Check it daily to see if your recipe is being featured, as I’ll update it every afternoon . I’m in love with the simple spicy chickpea creation that’s there today!
2. This morning, while baking both cake and gingerbread at the same time, I accidentally set my copy of Gourmet on fire.
3. The above statement forces me to question everything I’ve believed to be true in life.
4. I’m still in my pajamas.
5. I’d like drink one of these in a sippy cup. While in my pajamas.
6. I’m wondering what people’s reactions to me would be if I went to Target in my pajamas.
7. I need to get out more.

November 11, 2010 at 12:20 pmOh Jenna, you’re so lovely. I think if the people at Target couldn’t accept you in your pajamas, you should just ignore them and go anyways. I think I’ll change into my pajamas now, too.

November 11, 2010 at 12:41 pmYou don’t have kids but….most beverages around here are drank from sippy cups, Ive been to Target, the groc store, Rite Aid and many places in my pajamas, and the sad thing…is that I dont even care what people’s reactions are!! haha!
So I just covered a couple items on your list.
And b/c I have a child, I dont have time to read grown up books anymore. Enjoy yours, looks great!!! π

November 11, 2010 at 12:47 pmI know everyone is commenting on that milkshake, but all I could think about after reading your list is that I hope you have a fire extinguisher in your apartment. :p

November 11, 2010 at 12:50 pmI am loving your blog so much. I’ve been reading for a while and your writing has just really progressed so much and gotten even better than it was. Plus, you’re super cute and funny. Love it! Love you! Oh, can I just say I am eating your lentil walnut loaf as I type – best thing ever. My stomach loves you too.
So rock on in your pjs. π

November 11, 2010 at 1:26 pmI find myself setting things on fire while cooking quite often – for some reason I have a tendency to put print-outs of recipes on burners and then accidentally turn on the wrong one π Going to Target in your pajamas is perfectly acceptable – you can confirm with Jen – in college she regularly wore her pajamas to class.

November 11, 2010 at 1:34 pmI’m pretty sure I’ve SEEN people at Target in their P.J.’s! LOL! I think you’d be safe:)

November 11, 2010 at 3:25 pmlol a stray piece of brie cheese… That makes me laugh.
I would totally go to Target in my pj’s. I’ve done it many times… Although I refrain from doing that to Walmart… I’d hate to be on peopleofwalmart.com. π

November 11, 2010 at 3:38 pmI can only imagine wearing PJs to a store would make me feel like I am in a bad dream, like one where you go to work and realize you forgot your pants or bra…

November 11, 2010 at 5:36 pmI just looked at my husband and stated “I need you to go to the store for vanilla icecream and marshmallows.” He gave me a look of delight and fear that read what does she want to make now. I followed with, βI just read about toasted marshmallow milkshakes and have to make them!β He responded, βI love you.β At least he indulges me even if he wonβt go to the store.

November 11, 2010 at 5:50 pmI have been known to rock pj’s every now and then like to TJ’s and WFoods! I love it too because people are so into fashion in my neck of the woods so I get the glare sometimes, which makes me laugh. I just love being comfortable and happy. π

November 11, 2010 at 6:47 pmWow, that milkshake looks incredible. I’m tempted to try it with Coconut Bliss and maybe even mint chocolate chip icecream for a pepperminty kick.

November 11, 2010 at 6:58 pmUm, love this post.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom/witticisms/cuteness…and I wanted to go to BnN in my jammers (PINK sweatpants, AA deep-v) to read but decided a book at home and hot apple cinnamon tea didn’t sound too bad.

November 11, 2010 at 7:50 pmSometimes, wearing jammie pants is the only way I can get myself and kids to the store when I’m in need of ingredients for whatever I’m craving at that moment! Sure, it’s fine!!

November 11, 2010 at 8:42 pmHaha, last year I went to class in PJs, Uggs, and a sweatshirt. My mom’s response: “IF YOUR FATHER KNEW WHAT YOU WERE WEARING…!” π So ready for Christmas.

I see that you love your Silpat. I don’t bake but roast veggies in oil all the time- would it be good for that?
Thanks so much.
