Behind The Butter

this might scare you

Contrary to what you may believe, I’m really not housing a college age boy. I just happen to have a major shortage of tupperware tops and a top shelf dedicated to apple juice and booze.

I really need to clean out my fridge today….

But first need to find a New Years Eve outfit! Oh, and get my hair done and my eyebrows waxed.

Priorities, people.

Girl, me too. My eyebrows are kinda scary at the moment… not that I just admitted that for the whole world to see.

I’ve got a top shelf dedicated to cheese, onions and something green and mossy. . . Ah, the bottomless pit of fridge. P.S. I found your blog not too long ago and I love it! I read it everyday!

Nothing can scare me after a horrible experience I had last week. I’m a college junior, I live with 5 other girls and this is year we have our first “big girl kitchen” complete with a family sized fridge and oven. Before we left for Christmas break we had to clean out the fridge..lets just say there was enough mold to create penicillin to cure our campus and all of the surrounding colleges of any infections. Absolutely disgusting. Learned my lesson.

Good luck on your outfit search! Clearly thats a higher priority for me than the fridge as well haha

Hey, with fridges it works the opposite: all that matters is what’s on the OUTSIDE 🙂 Yours doesn’t even look that bad, just surprisingly empty!

I need a haircut sooooo bad. Have fun with yours!

Your fridge is surprisingly “empty” compared to what I thought it would be (I remember the freezer pic from a few days ago), I would have thought you woulda had bowls full of a variety of doughs resting or chocolate hardening or baked goods in progress 🙂

Condiments + booze + fresh produce + chilling homemade kombucha = my fridge.

Have fun picking out your outfit!!!!! And your wax. Yes, priorities! 🙂

Eyebrows are definitely on my list too! Such a chore but it drives me crazy when they’re not done. Good luck with the New Year’s outfit – you sound waaay ahead of the game compared to me!

Oh, I need a haircut (and more), but money is ultra-tight right now.
Wish I had some christmas music even…my old cd’s all disappeared, and I’m not in the financial situation to be able to buy anything. Too bad about that.
Will you be home or home for new years? (depending on what you consider “home”!).
And where is “home”? Sometimes I hear you mention Florida…other times Charleston (I don’t know where that is). Just curious!

      December 22, 2010 at 12:55 pm

I’m going “home” to georgia and then heading to Charleston for New Years Eve. Florida used to be my home, but then my parents moved away so I never go back there anymore. Now I consider wherever they are “home”. 🙂

      J.

Have you considered that most of your comments are passively negative? Jenna’s posts are generally light-hearted in nature, yet you manage to spin them to talk about yourself, bringing down the comments and making a heavy environment. I don’t know your life situation but we all have our own issues to deal with.

My niece just lost all her belongings in a house fire but she is remaining as spirited as she can and trying to be positive. Be aware of how your friends respond to your actions and words. Keeping negative energy within yourself and spreading it to others will not attract people or things in your life.

      Have faith,

      Tammy
