Winding Down

Well, sadly its that time of the week again…….yep, 5:15 rolls around on Sunday and I am officially in “wind-down mode”. How sad is that?! This afternoon I did get a decent upper body/abs workout in at the Y and then I came home and had a light dinner because I was STILL full from our spectacular blogger brunch today! I dove into my favorite soup ever—

As well as a tiny cup of chopped pineapple (what was left from the Chick-Un pizza the other night)

I just love that Amy’s Curried Lentil Soup. It has ZERO “canned soup taste” and is thick, hearty and filling. If you eat the whole can, like I just did, it contains a whopping 18 grams of protein! I just wish I could find it more places….right now I can only find it at Whole Foods not my Greenwise.

After dinner it was time to crack a new jar—-

And heat up a VitaBrownie, which I am SO glad that I finally restocked after a few months without. These things are hard to find and $$ but very worth it!!!

It might win the award for best snack/dessert ever. Love that warm chocolate almond combo!

Tomorrow is work and yoga day! I can’t wait to get on that mat and stretch some tight hamstrings….

Remember today is Beth Moore Scripture Memory Team verse day! I just added mine =)

I tried that soup because of your opinions on it, and it was probably THE BEST canned soup I’ve ever had! Thanks for lettin’ us all know! I’m still drooling over the minkey bread from lunch, by the way:) I haven’t tried a vitabrownie, but I’m thinking I’ll have to give in soon enough and spend the big buck for ’em. Have a great night recharging for the week!

I am the same way with almond butter. I recently got busted for hiding it from my husband in the crisper drawer! How selfish and bad is that!?!? 🙂

I recently found Amy’s soups in the US section of my supermarket here in New Zealand; I much prefer to make my own soups, to be honest, but after seeing them on all the American food blogs, I was so excited and had to buy a couple. 🙂 I’ve got Split Pea in the pantry at the moment, I think, but I’ll have to check and see if they have that one.

That is by far my favorite almond butter ever. The only thing better than a new jar, is an almost empty jar that you can just hit with the spoon!

Have you tried the No Pudge brownies? It’s a fat-free box mix and very yummy. It doesn’t contain all the vitamins of a VitaBrownie, but the nutritional value is good and they’re much cheaper.
