Back in the Routine Breakfast

I actually slept until 8:00 this morning, which is basically unheard of for me. I’m a huge morning person and usually by 8:00 I have had breakfast, run 5 miles and cleaned the house (as Ryan would say). I needed the sleep last night though and feel a ton better today! For breakfast I made oatmeal with 10 grams walnuts, 5 grams sliced almonds, 1 banana, 1/2 skim milk and 1/2 water for about 393 calories.  I have to go an get an x-ray on my ankle this morning (ugh!) and then the rest of the day is up in the air. I am on the schedule to work tonight, and in that case would need to drive back to Orlando, but there’s always a chance I will get called off because it’s a weeknight. We’ll see!

    Hope everything is alright with the ankle. I sprained mine really bad a couple of years ago and had to go to physical therapy for 6 months to work back up the strength :(. Anyway, I got a book for Christmas and I wanted to recommend it to you… Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. It’s actually gotten a ton of media coverage this season but I totally understand it is a brilliant memoir. You should check it out if you get a chance!
