Dinner

BBQ fun!

Sorry for the delayed post!

We didn’t get home last night until around midnight and then I literally just passed out! I was SO tired! Dinner was fun—it was more of a cookout, buffet-style and I had salad, about 2 ribs (I havent eaten them since I was six so I wanted to taste them here—pretty tasty!), a couple bites of bbq chicken, 2 servings of baked beans, corn on the cob and a small roll. Ryan and I also split a small piece of red velvet cake but I think I only had about 3 bites, because it wasn’t really worth it.

That tiny plate below is loaded with so much food but I really only picked at/tasted everything. I actually could have eaten more but I didn’t. I also had a glass and a half of red wine.

Before my haircut, I got another one of those low fat, organic milkshakes from Evo’s! I have vanilla this time and it was SO GOOD! Only 180 calories, which is perfect for a snack to tide me over before dinner and also a good source of dairy and calcium.

Oh, and I got 5 inches cut off my hair! ahh!!  Time for a new style I guess! Girls—I hope you all don’t think I’m bragging, but I really hope you can find a guy like Ryan because this morning when we woke up he looked at me and said “I thought I was dreaming but you DO have short hair and it looks beautiful!” THEN, he went downstairs immediately to get my camera cord out of my car where I forgot it last night so I could upload these pictures! I’m a lucky girl!! 🙂

Me, with new haircut, posing with a cannister of steel cut oats. I’m such a nerd.

My first plate…I picked at all of this, eating all the beans, all the corn and the bread.. I just picked at the ribs and only had a bite or two of the chicken. There is salad underneath that mess!

My second plate with more beans and corn!

Ryan and I picked at this cake…each having about 3 or 4 bites. It wasnt that good.

Haha, the secret is in that picture I just got back from the hair dresser! your hair is always the prettiest right when you get back! I use Pureology hair products on my hair though…its vegan shampoo and conditioner and I love it. Look for it at target with the specialty shampoos or at a hair salon!
