April 4, 2011 at 1:53 pmHaha agreed to the MAX! I keep telling myself I need to get un-addicted to coffee…but then why would I want to do that? It goes so freaking well with chocolate! (And desserts in general!)

April 4, 2011 at 4:11 pmSo well said. For so many reasons. Particularly the last sentence of course.
I remember an old yoga instructor I had once who was super “elite”, taught classes, spiritual, vegan, fit, etc….he drank coffee like it was water all day long.
You gotta do what feels fine for your 🙂 Everyone has their vice.

April 4, 2011 at 2:40 pmWait — I thought caffeine and I were *exclusive*…?! 😉
Caffeine = productive happy face. No caffeine = monster face. Too much caffeine = happy/monster/confused/shakey face.

April 4, 2011 at 3:12 pmI’ve tried cutting out caffeine several times. And it was a violent “cutting out” let me tell you. I’ve concluded the world is a safer place when I have a cup of coffee in my hand.

April 4, 2011 at 3:13 pmCaffeine is such a gift, as is wine. I hope I never have to choose between the two. I was miserable when pregnant and not b/c I gained 35 pounds, but b/c I had neither caffeine nor wine.

“nurse that plunged a needle into my arm this morning after I had been fasting for 12 hours ”
I hope it was just a routine test that you had to fast for and that all is well!
And yes, caffeine. I am drinking coffee right now as I catch up on blogs 🙂

April 4, 2011 at 5:36 pmOh my goodness, yesterday AM I awoke to NO TEA in the pantry (my caffeine essential every morning). It was gone, zip, nothing! I just don’t like the taste of coffee, tea does the trick for me. I went the entire day without my caffeine, and let me tell ya, it was not my best day! Today, I stocked up again, few. Days without caffeine are better off spent in bed 🙂

April 4, 2011 at 8:05 pmYou know, I’ve been trying to make it without caffeine for a few years and have done pretty well, but lately, I’ve been so feeling like I need a cup of it every morning! Maybe it’s time to go back to one cup a day?? That capp. looks delicious!

April 5, 2011 at 3:35 amAmen!
I save my coffee treats for the weekend, because as much as I love coffee, coffee does not love me back (sad, but true!) Although I’m sure if I was presented with a beautiful cup like this during the week, I would be done with that idea once and for all, no matter what the consequences may be. 😉

April 5, 2011 at 4:50 pmYou already know my thoughts on this issue. Clearly, the bean and I feel the love.
I had to comment because that picture was perfection to me–a yummy bagel, a newspaper, latte art, and gorgeous natural lighting?! These small pleasures add up to a beautiful life, and you captured one of those “life is good” moments so well in this photo…

April 7, 2011 at 11:20 amEnjoy every moment of it now. My husband and I are thinking of getting pregnant and (call me a baby) but it literally brought tears to my eyes watching him enjoy a latte as I attempted to see what it would be like to withdrawl….not nice.
ENJOY! and if you have any warm non-caffiene inventions, please share
