ahh Thursday—my day off :). I don’t think I have next Thursday off though so I need to relish this for all its worth. We actually got out early last night in class. Crazy, I know, but I was sooo happy to be home at 11:00! I didn’t go to sleep until around midnight though after showering, winding down, taking to Ryan, playing with Dexter…but it was still nice to be in bed earlier. Last night we baked more cakes that we will be decorating tonight. We baked a swiss roll cake and ladyfingers and made more chocolate swiss buttercream frosting. Tonight is just an assembly of it all! Photos then!
For breakfast this morning I made a toasted english muffin with almond butter and jelly with a sliced banana on the side. Today’s list includes cleaning the house, engraving my name on all my chef tools (thing keep getting stolen), working out and going grocery shopping. I’m in desperate need of food over here!

May 1, 2008 at 3:07 pmKelly- I have read “Sushi for Beginners” by Marian Keyes and I liked it. It’s not at all about sushi or food (don’t worry)! It’s just a fun book 🙂

May 1, 2008 at 5:28 pmMy favorite almond butter combo is almond butter and nonfat vanilla yogurt. omg, yum!! Second place would have to go to almond butter, oatmeal pancake, and a tiny drizzle of maple syrup. HEAVEN!

May 1, 2008 at 7:07 pmooo! I love Marian Keyes-I’ve read almost all of her books and think they are all really good. They don’t really have to be read in any order…some do go together, though (use characters that appeared in another book and reading that other book helps gain insight into their character). I think my favorite is Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married (hilarious!), but they are all good! ^_^
I feel you all on the student=exhausted situation! I only have a week and 2 and a 1/2 days left!! THANK GODNESS!! I am literally falling asleep standing now, I am so TIRED! Summer can not come soon enough ^_^
