Great Game, Late Dinner

Hello lovies! I’m so sorry I didn’t get to post last night…things got crazy and by the time I got home I was so exhausted that I just passed right out.

But let me back up….

We decided to watch the game with about 10 friends at this bar near our apartment yesterday. The bar was brand new and was in a restored house from 1918. How cool is that?! On the way, I snacked on one of the fabulous macaroons Gina brought me:

I didn’t drink during the game. I’ve never liked beer and even though everyone else was drinking it, I can’t just drink it for the sake of drinking it if I really don’t like the taste at all. So, I drank a diet coke and a water.

Later, we all ordered appetizers and snackie things. The menu was filled with nachos, wings, sliders…..I was really hungry though so I got a cup of homemade black bean soup for a halftime snack!

It was absolutely delicious and SUPER spicy! I didn’t even have to ask for extra hot sauce!

The game ended around 6:45 and we hung out for about half an hour more with everyone. Ryan and I came home for awhile and then ended up going out for sushi later, around 9:00.

We started off with garlic edamame:

And for my entree, I got both the seafood wakame salad and a spicy tuna roll with avocado.

Everything was good but huge! I couldn’t finish either the salad or the roll. I don’t know what got into me! I ate about half of the salad and left three of the sushi pieces…..I did also have a glass of pinot noir and a chocolate macaroon once we got home:

Aaaaand then I passed out. I was exhausted.

This morning I woke up early and had a bowl of oatmeal with almond butter and a crumbled macaroon (I just can’t get enough–they are SO good!!). I used half soymilk and half water and unfortunately no banana. We are all out of fruit over here :(. I’ll have to make up for it later!

Ryan is still asleep of course! I’m not sure what the day entails..I think we are going to go workout though once he wakes up. I’ll check in later—have a good morning!

That new bar sounds so cool! I love restored buildings that aren’t what they were meant for originally, it gives them a certain je ne sais quoi!

Sad about no banana with breakfast, you can DEFINITELY make up for that one later 🙂

    Have a great Sunday!

Are you referring to the UF/ Tennessee game? THat game was pretty insane. Tennessee basically got their asses kicked.

The last time we went out for sushi I ordered the edammame (sp?) and it was so good! I had never tried it before – especially liked the saltiness of it.

That is a lot of food!
