Behind The Butter

I Think I’ll Stay

Mornin’!

As usual, we are having a little TOO much fun over here.

Making the best sangria ever…

IMG_2971
We used 1.5 bottles of red wine, 1 can fresca, 1 apple, 1 banana, small glug of rum, glug of cranberry juice.….it actually worked!
Singing at the top of our lungs to awesome songs on the radio…

And then Christie’s cousin came over who we both sort of grew up with and we had a big dinner reunion!

IMG_2992
We made grilled kabobs with veggies, pineapple, chicken and shrimp…..it was absolutely delicious!
Look at the gorgeous grilled veggies! I was in heaven….

My plate with shrimp, rice, pineapple, bread and veggies….plus Betty’s secret curry sauce for dipping.

After dinner, Christie and I went out to meet a couple friends from high school for a cocktail. I don’t think I’ve seen these guys for the past six years so it was a blast and we caught up for about three hours….at one point my friend Ryan was like “remember that time I almost caught you on fire with the bunson burner in Chem lab” and I thought I was going to die laughing. Good times, good times. I had a mojito and a glass of red wine over the span of the evening….it was lovely!
This morning I woke up around 7:30 and had oatmeal made with soymilk, peanut butter and berries

I’m having such a blast here that I’ve decided to house sit with Christie for the week while her family goes out of town. I‘ll probably head back to Tampa on Friday…..its just so relaxing and peaceful here and I think we are actually going to be working at a cupcake store on the beach all week and I’ll write all my articles from here. My life is a lot of things but I guess its never really boring, right?!
Today’s plans include surfing and possible cupcake job training.
Happy Sunday!
