Behind The Butter

July Favorites

Hey!

It’s time for another favorites post….I just love these! It’s so fun to share with you guys. Isn’t the Internet just the best?!

First of all, these mini coconut milk fudgsicles. The box below is the second box I’ve gone through in a week. I can’t get enough. And since they’re only 70 calories, you can eat three at a time and call it a night!

My sweet friend Jessi (a co-host of The Influence Conference) wrote an eBook!!! And it totally made my cry. She sent it to me last week and I meant to just glance over it, but ended up reading the whole entire thing in one sitting. You guys, it’s so good. Please read it. I think you’re going to just love it.

I am really loving this Yes to Blueberries anti-age serum. Every birthday, I sort of have a mini breakdown in the Target beauty product aisle where I think I need to start using anti-age stuff but have no idea what to use. Well…over the past month I have completely switched all my skincare products to Say Yes products and love them—especially this serum! I also use the Yes to Tomatoes cleanser, Yes to Carrots spf 15 moisturizer and Yes to Blueberries night cream now. I love how yummy everything smells (Adam says it makes me smell like a sweet tart, which is a win in my book).

Three words: Pineapple Arugula Mojito. Need I say more? This was one of the fresh and yummy cocktails served at the Dole Conference I attended earlier in the week and yeahhhhhhhh, they go down pretty easy. That’s indeed what we are sipping in the first photo—Ashley, Jessica, Jess, Lauren and Tina, you girls are a blast! <—I need to recreate this drink, stat.

I LOVED this book! It’s a quick read—I knocked it out in a few hours—but it’s so sweet and so thought provoking. I don’t know why it took me so long to find it, but it’s definitely one of my new favorites.

P.S. have kleenex nearby. Trust.

How Sweet Eat’s Grilled Corn, Mushroom and Roasted Poblano Tacos! Mmmmm. I made these last night for dinner and let’s just say, two of us ate the entire recipe that supposedly serves four. I threw an avocado in my spicy chipotle crema and it turned out fab! So spicy and creamy…the perfect little drizzle on these vegetarian tacos! Make.these.tonight.

Locals flip-flops + Blue polish. I found these flops at a local shop and they pretty much haven’t left my feet since. I love the bright red/pink combo. They go so nice with a bright blue pedi, don’t ya think? (I’m usually a size 8 and wear a size 10 in these)

….that’s about it for today, folks! Have a lovely Thursday!

Ive been using Yes to Carrots for years. They’re awesome products. The shampoo is amazing as wel. Further the hair mask is awesome if you’re one that has a scalp that freaks out when the skin changes. Their lip balms are awesome. I love thir product. I pay WAY too much to have it here in Australia, but it’s worth it. It’s also a good company as well.

Well, one of the girls who works for Say Yes loves ELR so she sent me a couple goodies in the mail. I tried them and just got hooked so I went out and bought the whole line! I like that they are all natural and smell nice. I’ve been having issues with breakouts lately, so I think the Tomatoes cleanser is going to be good for that!

Perfect cocktail for this triple digit degree weather! LOVE the flips and the nail polish! About the anti-age serum : totally know what the birthday blues breakdown is all about, but you’re gorgeous, hun…you don’t need it! 🙂

Btw, I saw the author of that “Heaven is For Real” book on 20/20 this past weekend, and listening to their experience really makes me want to read the book.. The boy’s conviction about what he experienced was something to see.
