This morning I am giving away one beautiful KitchenAid 13-cup Food Processor!
I have this same food processor in red and really don’t know how I survived for so long without it. Honestly, I always thought food processors were sort of overrated, especially if I already had a Vita-Mix, BUT I was wrong. Very wrong. After it perfectly chopped a gigantic onion for me in three seconds flat, I became a believer. Seriously, I don’t know if I’ll ever chop veggies by hand again! And don’t even get me started on the perfectly creamy hummus it makes…or pesto! Plus about a zillion other things. I’m planning on making another batch of spicy black bean burgers in it tomorrow.
It’s a whole new world, I tell ya. A WHOLE NEW WORLD!

Needless to say it took about 45 minutes to make the pesto smooth. I called it rustic pesto because there were still chunks 🙂

I have the tiniest, moodiest food processor in world–it doesn’t always work and it takes like 4 or 5 times to process the ginger snaps for one ginger snap cheesecake crust.

I basically prepare my food as if giving to a toddler or infant. This food processor would help me so much in the kitchen. I am currerntly using a cheap blender and it takes a lot of time to get the consistancy I neeed. I am falling in love with food again!! My husband has been begging me to cook better for the past year as he is a runner, swimmer and does biking. I always fought it because its so much easier to just go with convenience. But Im getting the hang of it now slowly but surely. Hope my 4 year old starts to like it better. LOL!
