Happy Christmas Eve!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE today. Its pretty much my favorite day of the year because of all the anticipation and festive spirits. I woke up at 6 and by 8 already had made my ice cream and baked my walnut cake. Here’s a glimpse of the honey thyme ice cream. Its SUPER creamy and delish (I had to taste a small spoonful….)
I did eat breakfast before I started though—-about a half cup of Fage with a half cup of muesli, a banana and some bluberries with a slice of cinnamon raisin toast with butter and gingerbread sugar
I’m telling ya—this is the most filling breakfast EVER. I ate at 6:45 and now its 10:30 and I’m still feeling full and satisfied. That never happens!
After the baking extravaganza was over, my mom and I did a 60 minute Yoga to the People class via podcast. We did the 5th class and MAN was it hard!!!!!!!!! Seriously. I was sweating and dying from all the lunges and chatarungas. I fell on my butt out of side plank and my mom and I burst out laughing. You gotta laugh at yourself though, right?! I mean come on….yoga poses are pretty funny.
I’m off to pick up more flour from Publix (have one more baking project to go today). eat some lunch and wrap presents. See you in a bit!

Hell yes for intense yoga. I like chatarunga much better than plank, since it works the arms more.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE, GIRL!!!

December 24, 2008 at 10:25 amI am so curious about your ice-cream. The honey/thyme combo sounds so good – sweet but refreshing.
Glad you enjoyed yoga with your mom. Nothing like a good Chaturanga to strengthen those arms 🙂
Enjoy the rest of your favorite day!
