Dinner

Randomly Gourmet

Hey y’all!

This time tomorrow night and I’ll be in my bed in Florida 🙂 Crazy!

Today was GORGEOUS outside. I didn’t even need a sweater…felt so good. Snacked on some millet toast with coconut butter and raspberry:

YUM!!! I worked at the studio all afternoon then came home and decided to cook a randomly gourmet meal. Recipe a la my mama 🙂

Sometimes you just crave a REALLY good home cooked meal, ya know?
Must go clean the kitchen and finish packing….leaving the house at 6 am tomorrow and thankfully BethT is letting me keep my car at her house in the city so I can forgo expensive airport parking! Thanks, Beth!!! 🙂 And, if I get to her house early enough, we are hitting up Tartine!
See you from….Dallas?

I’m very curious about how often you go grocery shopping. Do you do one major trip a week, or smaller ones throughout the week? I ask because so often I randomly get in the mood to cook something special, only to find that the recipe requires a trip to the grocery store that I just don’t have time for! 🙁 Perhaps I just need to get better at improvising/finding substitutions that I have on hand?
