Gahhhh Sunday night has finally arrived :(.
In a way, this week will be really good for me because I work Monday-Friday and it’ll give me a chance to really settle into a routine rather than last week when I worked three days then took a lovely three day weekend! I’m trying not to stress out about tonight….I’m sure Monday mornings are going to be my hardest day but I’ll survive. If I made it last week on 2 1/2 hours sleep I feel like I can pretty much do anything!
Today after lunch Ryan and I went grocery shopping at Greenwise and I got some fruit and bars for the week—
And then we were lazy around the condo for awhile until later when Ryan “jogged me home”! Haha! He ran down the sidewalk and I biked slowly next to him for about a mile and a half (the halfway point between our houses) and then he turned around and I picked up the pace and headed home. It was a sight to be seen! Actually the bike ride was rather difficult because I was going straight into the wind and had a huge bag on my bike filled with food and my laptop. My quads were burning!
When I got home it was just about dinner time and my mom had ordered pizza to be delivered because she had work to do and my dad was watching football. I picked the toppings—olives, onions, tomato and feta! Deeeeelicious! I had one gigantic piece and one small piece:
As well as a small glass of cab—
All well watching Arizona win (I like to root for the underdog!)!!! I’ve never been a big NFL girl…I love college football but just could never get into the pros. However, the super bowl is IN TAMPA in two weeks so I’m super excited this year! I can’t believe I actually live in a cool enough town to get the super bowl. Everyone is so pumped up here and there’s a chance Ryan and I might even be going!
I’m off to take a bath and read in bed. 3:15 comes earlier than you would think. Hah.
Have a great evening and I’ll see you tomorrow! =)
Ooh! I think someone asked what cookbook I got for a gift yesterday.
Here it is! This is the cookbook for the Don CeSar, a really old and famous hotel right on the ocean in St.Pete. The cookbook includes the entire history of the hotel (I LOVE that kinda thing!) as well as some yummy sounding recipes!

January 18, 2009 at 6:23 pmI love, love, love the Don CeSar! My parents actually live in St. Pete (South Pasadena to be exact) and I was thisclose to getting married there. We ended up getting married in our hometown, but we always go to the Don CeSar whenever we go visit my parents. Perhaps next time I’m down that way we can meet up for lunch or something? 🙂

That looks like a really good cookbook, can’t wait to see what kind of things you make from there.

January 18, 2009 at 7:00 pmJenna,
are those starfruits I see? As a fruit fanatic, I have been SO curious about trying them, but for some reason I am a bit hesitant. How do they taste? I know the only way to know is to try them myself but I’m interested to hear your opinion.
Good luck tomorrow! Get some sleep! 🙂

January 18, 2009 at 8:33 pmLast week, Publix had a LaraBar sale, like 10/$10!!! That never happens!!! If you like the Bolthouse drinks too, they’ve been about 2/$2.79!! Did you order from Sally O’Neals? Love it. I LOVE Daily Eats, too- sweet potato fries, yum! (I live in Clearwater, could ya tell?)
It’s crazy people are renting their houses/rooms for the Super Bowl!!! Think of all the money people would be willing to shell out for it, though…
Good luck at work & getting into a routine again! Congrats on graduation 🙂

The pizza looks incredible, I think a slice probably would have helped this Philly girl get over her Eagles loss last night……….hope you had a great workday!
