Breakfast

Still Dreary!

Good morning and Happy Sunday!!!!!!

Sundays are my favorite day of the week for a ton of reasons! I have the day off, I praise God in church, I read to my heart’s delight and just relax. This morning I woke up at 5:30 though!!!! Which, is really 6:30 but still…..I was wide awake. I didn’t feel like forcing myself to fall asleep again so I got up and read awhile in bed before showering, eating and heading to church.

For breakfast I had a mess with 1 cup oikos, 1/2 cup nature’s path pumpkin granola (!!!), 1/2 cup cinnamon puffins and a banana.

You can’t really see any of the good stuff in this bowl because its all buried at the bottom. 🙂 This breakfast has kept me full now for 3 hours and counting. I just loooove this pumpkin granola! If I’m not careful, I could easily eat the entire box in one sitting.

I have a list of stuff I need to get done today and number one is go buy printer ink because I’m all out and have to print like 20 pages for my bible study today (those that are doing it with me know what I’m talking about!). I have a run planned for later but I’m not looking forward to it as I usually am because my shin has been bothering me more than usual in the past couple days and its also still incredibly dreary outside. Hopefully the pain (and weather!) will subside and I can crank out 5 1/2 miles today!

Enjoy your morning!

Hello. This comment is referring to your post when you had trouble sleeping. I know it was a while ago but I forgot to comment on it. What I do when I can’t sleep is pray. Works like a charm. I pray about anything and my mind becomes relaxed and then I can sleep. Or you could try organizing stuff on your computer/ in your room. Enjoy your Sunday!

I love a relaxing Sunday, especially when a good book is involved.
I know it’s aggravating, but I would really try to listen to your shin and only do what’s comfortable. I pushed myself after I ‘thought’ I was completely healed of mono and ended up in bed for another Six months. Overtraining is So not worth negating all of the progress you’ve made so far- which is super impressive! Have a great bible study.

haha…I don’t think I have ever heard of anyone say Sunday is their favourite day!? It certainly isn’t mine…mainly because I dread going to work on Monday. I try to make the best of Sundays though 🙂 Have a great day and I hope your shin isn’t bothering you too much on your run!

Yay for Sundays! Sorry it is gloomy there…it is beautiful here, but I’m not exactly feelin like getting out in it today. Run a mile or two for me today, if your shin allows! I hear ya on the ink…I had to go buy a bigger binder for my papers the other day, I’ve printed out through week 7 or 8, I’m not sure; but I’m still on week 4. Hopefully I’ll feel like breakin it out today. I know it will make me feel better! Love your day!

That sounds like an awesome day, and you certainly deserve it after all of the work you put in each week. I love reading your blog. You have such a special sparkle and I’m so glad that you share it.

I too love Sundays for the same reasons. I love going to church and getting my Sunday off to a good start. My goal is to keep praising god AFTER Sunday. I think all christians struggle with that. I have to keep reminding myself that Sunday isn’t the only day for God. 🙂

Question- how in the world do you fit all of your “mess” in that little 6 oz. Oikos container? Everytime I see that I’m like “how does it not all fall out” I have to put my cereal/yogurt/fruit mixtures in at least a 2 cup bowl. Then again maybe I eat more. LOL! 🙂

I want to do the bible study! Is it still open? E-mail me the details if you are wanting more girls. Happy SUnday Jenna!

    Kelly,

Haha it’s not “my” bible study but it is a Beth Moore online bible study that I know a few girls are doing. You can read more information about it on the website: http://www.lifeway.com/believinggod . If a couple people start doing it too (its a 9 week program), I’d be more than happy to put together an email list where we can chat about it! It really is amazing…I highly recommend it! Email me for more details or if you decide to do it.
