Morning!
This morning I decided to give an old favorite, a Fitnessista breakfast cookie, a whirl!
Gina, these never fail me! I used 1/2 cup oats, 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder, 1 T almond butter, half a banana and a few tbsp of almond milk. Plus a hard boiled egg.
Delicious! I need to remember to make these the night before more often.
Yay for sunshine…its going to be a beautiful day!

April 15, 2010 at 9:54 amHi Jenna!
I have a couple questions for ya. First, when you are making a green monster, do you use baby spinach? Does it matter what kind you use as far as nutritional content? And also, my husband threw away our protein powder scoop, and the nutritional contents use 2 scoops (50 grams). I’m not sure how much powder 1 scoop is equivalent to in tablespoons… Sorry if this is confusing…
Thank you, Cristal

April 15, 2010 at 9:59 amI made my first one last night and had it this morning. I’ve never had protein powder around, so I subbed cocoa powder per the fitnessista’s suggestion. Also I used pumpkin. I have to say it’s kept me full (although I did also have some hummus and a quarter of pita right after), but I’m not totally sold :/ Not what i was expecting i think. It totally looks like a cookie in the picture, but it’s more like SUPER thick oatmeal in the shape of a cookie. I’M NOT GIVING UP ON THEM YET THOUGH 🙂

April 19, 2010 at 10:55 amThat’s my problem – I don’t think about making one until the morning! Still trying to work on the ratios – if I add the milk & then the banana, it’s too mushy (too much liquid). I’ll keep experimenting… 🙂
