Where did the summer go? It’s hard to believe that fall is almost here. The other day, I saw typical fall displays at the store, and just stood there wondering.
Although, living in FL, the seasons don’t play as large a roll. I always miss the changing of the fall colors.
Thanks for the recipe lineup. I’m looking forward to trying these!!
Ahh I am so sad summer is pretty much over
Back to school on Wednesday and that will mean the official end for me! Anyway, great recipe lineup! You should add your pumpkin whoopie pies to this though… I made them last year for a party and everyone asked me for the recipe!
i just made my fall bucket/inspiration list (posted on my blog) and it was so much fun! even though the weather is still acting a little more like summer, i can’t wait for the fall weather, leaves and clothes-fever to spread quickly
I just got a little more excited for fall.
Happy Labor Day Jenna!
I may or may not have cracked open a pumpkin ale last night & pretended it was fall. I mean, football started, the humidity is kinda sorta starting to subside… why can’t a girl indulge herself a little?
I’ve already planned to make the first thing on this list for tonight!
I wish the trees look like that already. Although I will still be wearing my white jeans for a few more weeks, I want cold temperatures and pumpkin lattes now.
Seeing some of these recipes reminded me how much I need to order a crock pot before the weekend is over! Can’t wait to hunt through your archives. Happy fall!
Autumn food is the very best!!! This is too exciting.
My favorite time of the year is fall! I love the clothes, I love the colors and I love the food ! This month I will move from Holland to the USA, South Carolina, and I can’t wait to make some new friends with your great recipes ! Thanks Jenna.
i want to make all of these. thanks!
Your white chicken chili is the best! I’ve made it several times and it’s always a crowd pleaser! Always, I finished your book last night (read it in less than 24 hours) and really enjoyed it! You rock, Jenna!
That cinnamon roll! Mmm! And it’s still really hot in San Diego – hotter now that it was all summer (as is usually the case in Sept). But I’m still craving pumpkin & soup!
May I please have them all? It won’t feel like fall here…um…ever, but I will still make some chili for sure.
I’m sad summer is ending also, but these recipes make me feel better
I’m a little excited about pumpkin and squashes and crunchy leaves on the ground
I just made butternut squash soup this weekend while we were getting poured on (in St. Louis) from remnants of Hurricane Isaac! Thought a Florida girl would appreciate that:)
Thanks for putting them all in one place. I love your creamy white chicken chili….I’ve made it many times. And that cinnamon roll looks to die for!!
You had me at the first recipe. All of these look fantastic!! I can’t wait until the weather actually turns colder now. I love Fall
These all look amazing. I’m amazed at how quickly summer went by, but I’m ready for the fall!! Also, I ordered your book yesterday, so I’m pretty excited to read it!!
Mmm…curry and chewy caramel apple cookies [and fuzzy socks] sound delightful. I think I might be ready for fall if this is what I have to look forward too!
I’ll take one of each, please
<3
Oh dear me… with this list, I’m totally set for the season!
So many things I want to try! I love the fall and winter seasons, they are my favorite! Can’t wait to get some cute sweater dresses and have an actual reason to bake and not die in the heat!
I’m already thinking fall food, too! Sweet potatoes are ruling my kitchen.
Ahhhh love this post!! Love fall!! Love you!!
Lol I just bought a bunch of long sleeve shirts and sweaters yesterday even though it’s still high 90′s here in Texas
bring on the fires, hot chocolate, Harry Potter marathon, blanket snuggling days of fall!!
Oooohh and your book signing in ATX, can’t wait!!
I’ve been missing the fall and this made me miss it even more! First cold-ish day in Northern California and I’m making the arroz con pollo.
Awesome post. question…Do people in California get a real fall? I know sounds odd but i will be moving there soon and am wondering if i need all my fall clothes?
lol
thank you jena:)
wow! all look soooo good! I’ve got to stop reading food blogs before going to sleep…using all my ‘grown up’ sense to tell me to keep my butt in bed and not get up to make food.
If THAT doesn’t make you love fall, I don’t know what will.
Hi,
I found your blog through Heather Christos. I’ve printed most of your fall recipes, OMG. I’m ready to start cooking again, now that fall is coming, and, well, our stove is getting fixed.
I think I’ll start with your mom’s chili. YUM!
Congratulations on the book deal!
Jules
Welcome!

How is it fall already, it’s mind-boggling. Everything looks delicious!
