Today I discovered the perils of registering for California car insurance. I’m talking DMV waiting lines, smog centers and car inspection checks.
Prime example and the first of two rare glimpses into my real life. This is the look I give when I’m REALLY HUNGRY and I’ve been on the phone with the insurance agent for an hour and a half.
Don’t mess with me. Just feed me…..fast.
Thank God.

This is the face I give when I’ve been fed a main meal but now feel like its time for a snack.
Crisis averted and moving on.

That salad looks pretty amazing lady. My boyf is from northern cali and was talking about how easy where it is now at the DMV, etc. I had no idea until then that it was such an awful process out there!
I am being totally honest when I say that salad looks like the best salad ever. I wish I had something like that where I live.

Ha ha! I made a similar face when I was on the phone to the council this morning! I hadn’t had breakfast yet, and I was GRUM-PY.
I get super cranky and grouchy when I’m hungry. Like don’t mess with me hungry, I might eat your arm off!

hahaha i recognize the first face! yikes! now i know what i look like! sorrrrrrrrrrrrry the dmv was so awful. does the dmv EVER go smoothly? meh.

I’ve been putting off calling the DMV about changing my address. I’m in the same state and same county so why does it matter?!

I always tell people not to mess with me when I’m hungry either. It’s not pretty.
changing over the CA plates and insurance is a bear! At least you got a target trip in afterwards though.

Just for future reference, you can make appointments at the CA DMV. It still sucks, but it’s MUCH faster.

Love the food at East West, but every time I go there the service is BAD. Impossibly slow and you are basically ignored by the wait staff.

Hate the dmv:( But what a good salad.
Oh I have that face too, my boyfriend and my boss have both said they need to keep little candies and chocolates in their pocket so they can keep me fed and happy. (sort of the way you give a treat to a dog, sad really.. )

Haha, I do the same thing when I’m hungry. My boyfriend knows that “code red” is the danger hunger zone. . . Now that you’ve reminded me, I need to restock the snacks in my glove compartment.
Ahh yes the joys of California.. People think all we are about is beautiful weather, beaches and disneyland… Well little do they know our DMV and Insurance offices are more dangerous than the safari. Glad your crisis was avreted.

ugh got my Cali insurance and license two months ago. It was awful. Luckily, salads always save the day!

dang girl! I think you just gave us a ticket to the gun show. Also, I need that salad. Hummus, tofu, brown rice…all my favorite things together in one amazing looking salad. I’m jealous. ah yes, get used to it! CA is a big pain for the DMV, and for a lot of other “not fun” stuff like that. and like everyone is saying, you’re looking really buff!
