Wow. I come asking your forgiveness because unintentionally I just broken food blogging rule number ONE. Get this: I FORGOT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF MY LUNCH. I know, who am I?! I’ve only been taking pictures of every single meal for almost two years and today, randomly, I decide to just stuff my face and forget the camera??! To attempt to justify myself, for some reason I am not really feeling well right now…. progressively over the morning I have felt icky and I’m starting to freak out because I CANNOT get sick for Boston! To top it all off, my brain is total mush and I got lost going to the post office. Wow.
To try to redeem myself, I shall describe my lunch in acute detail. I made a sandwich on Ezekiel bread with roasted chicken breast, guacamole, shaved red onion and organic greens. I also had a plum on the side. It was delicious.
I have about a million things to do right now but I think I need to lay down for an hour before picking my mom up from the airport.
I DID, however, manage to take a picture of my chocolate bar

I love the photo of the chocolate bar – I’ve been looking all over for that type of lindt bar and cannot find it anywhere. I’m keeping my fingers crossed though!
Even though we can’t see it, and sandwich still sounds delish!
lol
when something has become a habit, sometimes you’re so used to not having to think about doing it, that you don’t pay attention and you end up not taking pictures of your food
i always thought my english was okay but i’ve been finding myself laughing out loud over expressions as “shaved red onion”.
i just can’t imagine what the … it is
Gillette, the best an onion can get…?
Sounds like you might need some rest. Take care!
You are funny!
Try and take it easy these next few days and hopefully you wont get sick!
I tried that chocolate bar because of you — so good! Thankfully, the only place I have found it is the expensive grocery store — the one I need to avoid for multiple reasons
Take it easy girl! Hopefully some rest will help you feel back to 100%!
I did the exact same thing this morning with breakfast!! Every since you posted about them I look for those chocolate bars EVERYWHERE. I can’t seem to find one. It is killing me!
You have a lot going on, give yourself a break
Those chocolate bars are divine. Great choice!
You have a lot going on — of course you’re feeling a bit loopy! My advice – lots of hot tea, nourishing food and rest, rest, rest!
I really wish I could try one of those chocolate bars. I wonder if they’re only out in the States…
haha, glad to know it happens to the best, cause I forgot my camera cord this morning. WTF?
Hey Jenna,
I’ve been reading your blog now for a couple months, just hiding in the shadows. It great! But I have to come out of the darkness for chocolate
Nice to know that someone else loves them like I do too!
The lindt sea salt bar is an addiction of mine, I can’t get enough of those things and have to restrain myself everytime I pass one, well… not everytime
Anyways, just thought I’d say Hi and tell you that I really enjoy your blog, and I hope you don’t get sick for Boston!
haha, no worries…the chocolate bar looks wonderful! enjoy your day my dear and I hope you start feeling better!
we have pretty good imaginations, so you are forgiven! Sounds delish!
Have a great afternoon
I think you need a mini-vacation! Good luck with everything and have a relaxing afternoon!
Aw, we all have those days. Get some rest and some vitamins and I’m sure you’ll feel better!
power naps do wonders
i hope you start to feel better!
i have been looking for that chocolate bar everywhere and can’t find it!
we know how yummy your sandwiches look, so no worries
I hope you feel better!
Can someone/anyone please tell me where to find teh chocolate bar? I have been looking for it, but unable to find that piece of heaven. THANKS!!!
Jenna, don’t be hard on yourself, be good to yourself. You have alot going on and sometimes we just are not all there. Just let yourself be and take care of yourself. Sending you good Monday vibes!!!
I have been searching for that sea salt bar – sounds so yummy!!
Jenna: Get some rest and drink lots of water! Take it easy. And I agree with the person that mentioned a vacation. Even just a weekend away somewhere local, just to rest your head. We’d all understand if you took time off the blog! We’d cry, but we’d get over it knowing you’re doing something for YOU.
About the chocolate: for Canadian girls looking for it, Shoppers Drug Mart sells it. I have yet to try it because I am a milk chocolate girl who just cannot get used to dark chocolate.
We all have our off days! I guess I’m not the only one who is wondering where the heck you got that chocolate bar. I hope you mention where you got it in your next awesome post!
Feel better.
Y’all—I get that chocolate bar from Borders bookstore but the Lindt chocolate store has it as well. I LOVE it!!!!
Also for the Canadian girls, try wal-mart!
oh jenna, you are only human!!!! you must have been so hungry, you wolfed it down!
i got that chocolate after i saw it in your blog a few weeks ago and l.o.v.e.d it! Canadian girls- found it at Loblaws, one of the ginormous ones.
I really wish I could find those chocolate bars around here….You keep teasing me with them and I can’t get them!!!!
we’ll forgive you , though the sammich sounds awesome minus the onions
lol!
good luck and hope you don’t get sick.

HAHA! Isn’t that weird!? I’ve made meals before for the sole sake of showing them to the blogworld…only to stuff my face before taking the photo;)
Aw, it’s okay, it happens! That sandwich sounds yummy! I just wanted to point out that I went to Trader Joe’s this weekend, and got dark chocolate covered almonds, and the outside was coated in sea salt and sugar! The sea salt adds this weird punch to the chocolate…it’s amazing! I definitely thought of your “with a touch of sea salt” bars while eating some!
Chocolate with sea salt = amazing. That picture makes up for you forgetting to take a picture of your sandwich, so no worries!
Haha, don’t beat yourself up, it happens! That chocolate bar looks delicious!
You have a lot on your plate so I think it’s normal for your brain to be somewhat mush
It’s taking all of my self-restraint for me to not leave work right now and hit Borders for that chocolate!
lol! your lunch looked amazing, even from your description!
Your lunch sounds delicious! I need to go to Costco for their rotisserie chicken. They also sell those chocolate bars at Bristol Farms, if anyone is from So Cal.
Borders has a surprisingly great chocolate selection – I’ve definitely seen that sea salt variety near the check-out
Books + chocolate = one stop shopping!
Jenna, thanks to you, I love that chocolate! The Borders in my area sells mainly Ghirardelli (lol- I checked after you said that’s where you got it), so I ended up just walking over to the Lindt store for it. Oh, it was amazing!
Don’t worry about forgetting to take a picture! I think we can all imagine it pretty well. I hope you feel better, sometimes it’s important to take the time and rest even when you feel like you have a ton to do, you will likely be more productive after!
Jenna, I hope you feel better for Boston! I am envious, you are heading to one of my favorite cities. Get as much rest as you can and cuddle with those cute bed bunnies.
yummy chocolate! i need to get myself some
You got the most important part though! That chocolate looks yummy-I love what a touch of sea salt can do for something sweet.
haha I have too many days like yours today! Maybe your thinking of too many things you have to get done. Last Sunday I wore one earring to church! I’m very scatterbrained sometimes!
I agree it sounds like you need some rest!! Please try to get some before your trip
The Intense Orange and Chili Lindt bars are also fantastic!
Haha, I think we all get forgetful every once in a while. I can’t blame you with everything you have going on! Just try to stay positive and hope your day goes a lot better.
forget the sandwich, that chocolate looks amazing!
I’ve been a forgetful myself lately, so I can relate. Your sandwich sounds good, even if we can’t see it!
Try and get some rest, and I hope you feel better soon!
lol, i think we can make it without one food pic
Sheesh, did you go to Catholic Girl’s School, too, where your own personal Guilt-Fairy gets permanently attached to one shoulder?! Cut yourself a break already!! Love the choc bar photo….I’d get one…but then that would spark a totally Ninja smackdown with my Guilt-Fairy, too.
I hope you get some much deserved rest and time for yourself! I have been searching for that chocolate everywhere, where can I get it???
I tried that chocolate after seeing it here on your blog a couple of months ago (or was it just a month ago? who knows)…and I LOVE it. Absolutely LOVE it. When I saw it I pretty much knew I’d like it, but when I tasted it it was pure heaven. I feel like I have to thank you for introducing me to my new favourite chocolate. So thank you!!!
hehe you’re so funny
The lunch sounds good though! And that chocolate looks good too! Hope you feel better.
We forgive you!! You’ve got a lot on your plate lately so take it easy
Don’t worry! You’ve had a lot going on lately – it’s only natural that you’re feeling flustered.
As for the chocolate, I employ the same habit as you every day. I little piece right after lunch is all I need… the sweet bitterness is a perfect way to end the meal, and you only need a touch to feel satisfied.
It’s ok! The sandwich still SOUNDS yummy and I bet it looked amazing!
We asked a Lindt rep the other day and we can’t get Fleur de Sel in Australia
boo hoo
