Wow, guys!!!!! Thank you SO much for all the support and sweet comments regarding my book deal. I feel so good now that I’ve come clean to y’all….and now you know why (unfortunately) I can’t give out any more recipes—you have to wait and get them in the book! It’s going to be a fun 9 months of recipe testing and writing but I promise it will be worth the wait 😉
This morning I ate some oatmeal before heading to the gym for an intense spinning class!
This was rather delicious. I used a half cup of oats cooked in water + a banana and then topped it with 1/2 cup yogurt, a sprinkle of granola, almond butter and maple syrup.
I can’t believe I haven’t been to a spinning class since……APRIL! Ohhhh man. It was a good, sweaty hurt. I actually enjoy spinning and I’m glad I now have a gym that offers some good classes at times that work with my schedule. I also did some ab work and push-ups before the class began to warm myself up.
Post workout snack:
Baby carrots, hummus and cheese. Nom nom nom!
I plowed through about 150 emails this morning. I want y’all to know that I do read EVERY SINGLE EMAIL that you send me but I’m just unable to answer every one of them now since I receive so many (you don’t even want to know). I also am balancing four email addresses so things are starting to get complicated. I’m just saying this because I don’t want you to feel like you aren’t important to me if you don’t hear back from me….some things are out of my control. I love hearing from you and I do TRY to answer you all!
Also, for future reference, if you have a question regarding Amazing Grass, please email me at my company email address—jenna@amazinggrass.com—just to keep a sense of order to my life. 🙂
Lunch was a deli sandwich eaten in a beautiful serene location as I disconnected and breathed for an hour—
This is a turkey sandwich on whole bread with pepperjack cheese, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, onion and mustard. It was HUGE and I only ate half.
Plus this bad boy—
I’m off to get some work done and make split pea soup. I have a feeling it’s going to be that kind of night!

November 10, 2009 at 3:17 pmWell at least we’ll get to salivate at the pictures of the test recipes, right? 🙂
I hope you use gmail! You can set it so that all your emails are linked to one mailbox, and even so that when you respond to an email, you do so from the mailing address it was sent to even if it’s not your primary one. It’s so helpful for me for balancing school and blog

November 10, 2009 at 5:53 pmYou deserve all that your getting! Glad to hear about the email for Amazing Grass Greens – I do have questions! I agree about spinning – it saved me when my running was…not happening at all. It was something that actually made me sweat!! Super sweat. I don’t do it so much now – or maybe just on my own to ‘spin-out’ the legs every now and then …it’s a hit or miss with classes, I hate realllllly loud instructors and lousy music haha ! Well – I shouldn’t say hate – I’m not a fan of it 🙂 Trying to be positive here.
