Can I please just say that animals flock to me?
Apparently my behind makes a mighty good pillow. Mikey thinks so at least. 😉
Anyways, this afternoon was rather busy and I snacked on yet another Oikos, this time with a bit of Udi’s, before heading to the studio!
I was scheduled to run the front desk from 4-8 but ended up jumping into a 5:45 power yoga class because there’s not much to do up front when classes are in session. This was an awesome class and I was sweatyyyyyy! My quads and lower back were screaming at me after deep stretches on the wall and standing back bends. I haven’t gone into a back bend from standing up since my old gymnast days when I was, errr, twelve….so this was an interesting experience. I felt old! I did eat an unpictured apple before the class because I knew I wouldn’t make it until an 8:30 dinner!
This is so a dinner I ate all the time in college! A two egg omelet with an arnold’s sandwich thin and steamed broccoli. Dinner of champions 😉
Dessert was a spoonful of chocolate peanut butter because….it rocks. Ignore the sweaty mane and casual dripping of peanut butter.
There’s a scary large pile of clean clothes on my bed waiting to be folded and a scary number of emails in my inbox as well.
See you tomorrow! 🙂

Love the animals! My cat loves my butt pillow too.

That picture is hysterical! Sometimes my cat sleeps on my neck/face, and I don’t have the heart to move her 🙂
That chocolate peanut butter looks AWESOME!!

Love that pic! Glad you got in a sweaty session of power yoga today. I did, too, and I feel awesome. It’s truly amazing how yoga can make you feel, isn’t it? BTW, I think you must be the queen of self-portraits. You always seem to get the best shot. I def need some practice!
angieinatlantaSeptember 14, 2009 at 9:34 pm
Lovin’ the sweaty mane ’cause it means you had an awesome practice today!
And seriously, do you ever need a reason for chocolate peanut butter? Not in my opinion!
Deva (Voracious Vorilee)September 14, 2009 at 9:42 pm
That picture is so funny! Our cat, Maggie, likes to curl up on The Boy’s chest for cuddles. It’s how she asks to be petted – it’s adorable! She also likes to climb on my bum to wake me up.

Chocolate Peanut Butter…Yum. My friend makes her own and it’s scrumptious. I should remind her that it’s been a while since she’s made any for me 🙂
Courtney (The Hungry Yogini)September 14, 2009 at 9:55 pm
That’s my old shift at Yogani! Love it. You got to work with Stacy too, right? Love her!!!
Have a lovely evening, my dear!

I wish my cat would sleep on my butt. She sleeps, instead, ON my head. All night.
JennaSeptember 14, 2009 at 10:24 pm
glad you got to do a class instead of working!
Allie KatieSeptember 14, 2009 at 10:39 pm
NOTHING worse than laundry waiting to be done. And don’t worry, I ate that chocolate PB all the time straight from the jar!
kellySeptember 14, 2009 at 10:40 pm
Love your animals! Where do you get your chocolate PB? I can hear it calling my name.
JuliaSeptember 14, 2009 at 10:42 pm

SamanthaSeptember 14, 2009 at 11:02 pm
I never really think about having eggs at night, but it sounds much more appealing than having them in the morning. I will have to put that on my list of things to do when I have time! PB is the best dessert, especially when it includes chocolate~
Amanda (Two Boos Who Eat)September 14, 2009 at 11:11 pm
that chocolate pb looks divine
AliSeptember 14, 2009 at 11:26 pm
Haha, your dog is awesome. And I think your scary pile of clean clothes has an evil twin because there’s one on my bed too!
CyndiSeptember 14, 2009 at 11:27 pm
My cat used to do that haha – she was great.
LizSeptember 14, 2009 at 11:46 pm
Breakfast for dinner is always good! You did quite the workout today…running and yoga!!
MichelleSeptember 14, 2009 at 11:52 pm
Oh I love how cats always find the most unusual places to cuddle up! So sweet! I love doing breakfast food for dinner, there’s something so comforting about it.

How do you make your omlettes? Just a little butter, salt and pepper, and that’s it?
jennaSeptember 15, 2009 at 10:17 am
yep! I let a little butter sizzle in my skillet then add two eggs (beaten with a fork) and sea salt. simple and delicious!
They have Peanut Butter and Co at The Fresh Market and also online!
TaySeptember 15, 2009 at 12:25 am
I agree – omelets are a definite A+ college dinner!!
AmandaSeptember 15, 2009 at 12:26 am

How fun that you get to play while you work! Love the simple dinners.
mariaSeptember 15, 2009 at 2:15 am
Hey, at least you can still do a backbend. I could never do one at any age! Maybe I could now, but I doubt it. I’m not too flexible!
CaraSeptember 15, 2009 at 2:33 am
I had the exact same thing for my dinner as well; you can never go wrong with a good omelet!
JuliaSeptember 15, 2009 at 3:52 am

ShannonSeptember 15, 2009 at 7:06 am
My cats like to like on me and get close especially after I have worked out and am stretching on the floor. I think they like the smelly version of me best!
