Hey guys!
I hope you all have enjoyed your Sunday. Mine was thoroughly spent basking in the sunshine…for a little too long. 🙁 My tummy is unfortunately a bit on the burned side now despite sunscreen. Meh
After a great church service I grabbed some Panera for lunch!

No matter what, Panera will always remind me of Freshman Year of college because it was seriously the ONLY restaurant in the whole town of Elon. I haven’t been there in a while (ummm years) because I got pretty burned out on it, but today I was pleasantly surprised by their sweet new menu options! I got the soup and sandwich combo with the Mediterranean sandwich + cup of black bean soup. it was awesome!
As for the rest of the day, we headed up to Ryan’s parents house because Ryan had the awesome job to clean out the fishpond. Erin and I let the boys get dirty in the mud while we basked in the sun. Obviously. 😉

(that’s Erin, not me. lol)
I read an entire stack of Food & Wine while chugging water to stay hydrated—

And ate a Pure Bar around 3:30—

After a few too many hours in the sun, it started to pour on the way home!

Yep, that’s Florida for you!! Sunshine one minute and a monsoon the next.
Dinner was very casual and delicious—egg and cheese sammies on Ezekiel bread!

I can assure you it tasted as good as it looked! I used some of the Wisconsin extra sharp cheddar + 1 egg. Soo good and simple!
There may have been some Edy’s for dessert….

I actually have a bunch of work to do tonight so I’m about to take a bubble bath, get in my jammies and get to it. I hope everyone had a great Sunday and I’ll see you in the morning!

July 26, 2009 at 8:09 pmOh my goodness…The pool at Ryan’s parents house. Gorgeous! I called my parents in to see because we just bought a lot and are building and definitely putting a pool in 🙂 I am loving it!
The egg and cheese sammie looks delicious…what a great combo, eh?
I am so glad you enjoyed your Sunday…even though it was rainy. It was rainy here in New Orleans, too. Night!

July 26, 2009 at 8:10 pmOh man, I used to love Panera, but then I worked there for a summer and now I can’t stand it. Ah well.
A bubble bath and jammies sounds wonderful. I love quiet working nights!

July 26, 2009 at 8:11 pmWow! That pool looks amazing! Is it right next to the ocean? Panera is my favorite fast food/fast casual restaurant. Unfortunately there are NO locations in NYC 🙁 I guess I’ll have to wait until I visit my parents in Pennsylvania. Have a great night!

July 26, 2009 at 8:17 pmPanera is always my go to restaurant when I have to get something quick at a chain. I love the veggie sandwich and french onion soup without the croutons and cheese. My favorite!

July 26, 2009 at 8:57 pmThe weather IS crazy! We went to see Harry Potter. By the time we got out it was POURING outside. Luckily my hubby is a gentleman. He ran through the rain to get me a towel and umbrella so I wouldn’t ruin my silk shirt. He’s the best!

July 26, 2009 at 11:07 pmHey Jenna!
Looks like you had a great sunday!
So i was hoping u could help me out with a little dilemma im having. I’m about to go into my freshmen year of college and i intend to continue practicing bikram. since i’ll be a busy college student i know that i can only attend 3x a week . . . (maybe 4 if im feeling ambitious and im not overloaded with work)
do u think that is enough exercise in general and enough exercise to build lean muscle and maintain/lose weight?
Thanks Jenna <3

July 27, 2009 at 12:27 amI think I would prefer Florida’s unpredictable weather over Ohio’s unpredictable weather almost any day! Sunny Florida days are 10X more gorgeous than sunny Cincinnati days 🙂

July 27, 2009 at 8:48 amThat mediterranean veggie sandwich is SO GOOD. To me, Panera is head and shoulders above those other soup-sandwich places (Corner Bakery, Atlanta Bread, etc.).
