July 26, 2013 at 10:25 amGreat list. Wish I would have had this before I went camping last week!
A great bug spray is also an essential. I highly recommend something like Cutter Backwoods Unscented (top rating by Consumer Reports) rather than something with less active ingredient like Burt’s.
Also, if you have a friend that plays guitar, that’s a jackpot.

July 26, 2013 at 10:32 amI was gong to say from your facebook post this morning you need some good reading material;)

July 26, 2013 at 11:16 amMy camping essentials? Chocolate, graham crackers and marshmallows. And a bottle of vino.

July 26, 2013 at 11:31 amI absolutely love that wine is an essential on the camping list! The extra 2-3lbs is totally worth it! I will definitely bring some on my next camping trip!

July 26, 2013 at 11:37 amSounds alot like my camping style. I would add Gushers (far from organic but SO good, especially cold), Benadryl, vodka and a baseball hat…’nuff said 🙂

do you use the wipes to wash your face or do you actually get dolled up with make-up for the rugged outdoors? 🙂

July 26, 2013 at 3:10 pmVery nice! Now I’m in the mood to go camping – I’ve grown so accustomed to backpacking I can’t remember what it’s like to sleep outdoors in such comfort!

July 26, 2013 at 3:52 pmOoh I think someone’s off camping this weekend! 🙂 I’m not a big camper myself, but if I was, the Lulu pants and lip balms would be the first things in my bag!

July 26, 2013 at 6:20 pmWhat a great list! I’ll have to remember some of these on our next camping trip. Also, I have used Trader Joe’s instant coffee packets because it comes with cream and sugar inside, so easy!
Christina @ The Beautiful Balance
July 26, 2013 at 6:31 pmDo I have to go camping to buy that hammock? Seriously. Haha!

July 27, 2013 at 4:28 pmOh goodness, yes – VIA packets are life-savers! I would also include bagels and peanut butter. I recall one time camping at the Grand Canyon and the food from their camp kitchen was horrendous, to say the least. Thank God for bagels!
Leslie
July 27, 2013 at 11:24 pmLove your taste! Couldn’t live without Via while camping, Need that cookbook…the last meal my hubby and I had camping was Trader Joes instant oatmeal with coconut chips on top. Forgot the stove…. Major fail.

July 28, 2013 at 6:36 amInstant coffee: brilliant!! I’m sure I wouldn’t sleep well in a tent so I’d be needing some caffeine in the a.m.

July 28, 2013 at 11:30 amWould love to see some pictures of your camp food & recipes. My son is on his way to becoming an Eagle Scout in a few years; he’s been a scout for seven years.

July 30, 2013 at 1:30 pmTemple Spa also do an amazing product called Take a Grip! It is a dry shower in a bottle… I swear by it when I go to festivals with my friends.

July 31, 2013 at 12:43 pmWe bought that hammock per Adam’s recommendation from your first Glamping vacay. We absolutely love it and take it on every vacation (Costa Rica) and hike! =)
