Hello hello
Gosh darnit, every time I tell myself I’ll just “take it easy” and do a Dave Farmar power vinyasa podcast at home, it always ends up totally kicking my booty. Thanks for that, Dave! This morning I did his latest—a 60 minute flow. Threw some of my favorite sequence—warrior three to floating half moon to revolved half moon to dancer—in there as well so I guess it’s mainly my fault that my behind is so sore right now. 😉
After yoga, I slammed down some greeeeens!
And had a few crackers with the most amazing cheese product ever!
A big thank you to Alouette for sending me some samples for the blog. This stuff rocks and we all know how much Jenna loves her brie 😉
Lunch was random as usual but delicious nonetheless 🙂
A morningstar farms black bean burger on an Arnold sandwich thin with provolone, hummus and hot sauce….and a big mound of baby carrots with peanut butter. Hey, it works! 😉
Gotta get back to work here and then heading to the studio from 4-8 again. Hope you have a marvelous Thursday!

September 17, 2009 at 1:35 pmYum! That brie looks good. Just curious- which brie do you prefer- the kind you ate today or the little round ones you’ve been eating? I would like to give one of the products a try!

September 17, 2009 at 1:51 pmYum! Doesn’t look weird to me! I am a big fan of the Morningstar Farms Spicy Black Bean Burgers – crumbled in salads, cut up in wraps, or in sandwiches like you! They are marvelous with hummus and hot sauce, no doubt!!

September 17, 2009 at 1:54 pmI pretty much love all of Morningstar Farms burgers. They are a perfect replacement. Cheese is a food group in my book, and Aloutte is definitely on the top of the list! Check out my latest blog, you are featured today!

September 17, 2009 at 3:43 pmHi Jenna! Does Dave Farmar explain what the poses are (in case some of us newbies aren’t familiar with them)? Just curious – I really want to try one of his podcasts but don’t want to be totally lost!

September 17, 2009 at 4:45 pmI need to find some good yoga podcasts or flows on the internet because I can’t afford the studio all the time. But I did try Hot Yoga yesterday after reading about it on yours, and Kath’s, and Heather’s blogs. We don’t have it at home so I found a local studio while traveling. 🙂

September 17, 2009 at 4:55 pmI have I feeling Dave Farmar may still be a little too advancde for me, but I’ll get there! I have a hard time getting into yoga when I’m at home, I need the classroom environment to keep me interested.

September 17, 2009 at 6:00 pmWe eat very much alike =) I can’t get enough of black bean burgers and carrots w/ PB lately!!! Odd.. haha. Anyhow, just finished reading Eat, Pray, Love on Sunday and loooooved it! It can be a bit offensive for Christians, but she addresses that at the beginning of the book. Anyhow, hope you are having a great day!

September 17, 2009 at 6:01 pmhey Jenna,
I have a research conference coming up soon and have an abstract brewing on my blog but would love your input as well as anyone interested on how to make it better. If you or anyone who is interested in women and nutrition (everyone) don’t mind just stopping by my blog to give your opinion it would be greatly appreciated!

September 20, 2009 at 9:52 pmI call Dave Farmar the yoga genius. I moved from Tucson to East Texas for a job, and you can imagine my lack of grocery and exercise resources in a small rural town compared to the yoga and organic food loving environment of Tucson, AZ.
Needless to say, Dave gets me through me week! He’s amazing.
And I’ve decided that peanut butter in any capacity deserves a thumbs up. 🙂
