Lunch

Done With Math!

I’m so happy that I just have to share: I totally rocked my cost control final exam and pulled off my first A EVER on a math test (and got the highest grade in the class!)!!!!! It took me about two hours to finish the test and I had to work out each problem on scrap paper but it was worth it! I guess you would have to really “know” me to understand fully….I HATE, SUCK AT and DESPISE all math. I took freshman math my senior year of college and it was a horrendous affair and struggle! It just is not my thing. I’m a writer, not a mathematician ! So I was very excited to receive such a good grade on my last math test ever. Yay!

Anyways, back to food! This morning I snacked on a clif bar after my exam:

I also bought a cup of coffee! Meh, I caved ;(

AndΒ  the entire time I was at school I was just imaging the awesomness of my lunch today! Can it get any better than Pei Wei pad thai leftovers?! NO!

DANG! This was a HUGE plate of pasta!!!!!! I can’t believe that was half?! (I eyeballed it last night so who really knows). I did eat the entire thing though because you just have to. It’s amazing. I’m stuffed right now though and plan to pack for a few hours then hit the gym for some weight lifting.

Catch ya for dinner!

Congrats on the math! My daughter gets straight A’s and EXCEPT ALWAYS a C in math. I blame her 3rd grade math teacher who wasn’t any good. You should be very proud of yourself!

    Three words: LOVE PAD THAI!

    Happy Wednesday!

Clapping and cheering! Looks like all your scrap paper scratches paid off. But now that you scored highest in the class I don’t think you’re allowed to say you suck at all math anymore!

I love pad thai but I feel like no matter how little of it I eat I am all bloated the next day. Do you get that feeling too? Maybe the place I go to just adds a lot of extra salt. I don’t know

Also had pad thai, although mine was a frozen meal. But, a very good one: Ethnic Gourment Chicken Pad Thai.
High math grades are always exciting. Good job.

Congrats on the test score. I have to say, I thought I never liked math either, but I find it helps when the calculations are related to something you enjoy. For example, now I really like stats because now that I work in marketing I can see how they can be used to tell a story.

hey jenna, I noticed that you’ve tried the vita tops and enjoyed them. im one of those people who really enjoy single packaged treats because it allows me a little more control. however, if the size is tiny, it can have a bad effect and make me want to go get another one.

    basically, my question is,
how big are these vitatops? are they substantial enough to have as a snack and not feel cheated due to a tiny portion? what would you compare the size to?

Thank you so much! You’re eating habits are amazing and I look to you for so much encouragement. πŸ™‚

Ok, it’s official, next time I go to pei wei I’m getting pad thai. You should try the veitnamese salad rolls or the ginger broccoli stir fry there sometimes, both fabulous!

Thai food is wonderful! Congrats on your test, I always get nervous for them, especially math ones! I myself had a spanish exam today, very hard!! I’d love for you to check out my blog, I’ve read yours a little (and I’m sorry I ended up with a similar name but mine didn’t come from yours! I might end up changing…), but you’ve inspired me with just a couple posts! I also would like to get a bit more info on how you were certified in nutrition…would it be possible to do online sometime? I am going into physical therapy and am interested in nutrition as well. Thanks!
