Hey guys!
In continuing our day of being 80 years old, Christie and I have already been out to dinner and now are back at….7:15. Awesome. Before we ate, we took a scenic little stroll downtown—

And had a glass of wine out on the dock!

We went to Sumo House, the best Thai place ever, for a lovely early bird dinner (we were starving!). In preparation for my 7 mile run in the morning I carbo-loaded it with delicious pad thai with tofu and a ginger salad

Christie ordered the basil tofu—

I gave her a little bit of mine and I tasted hers, but for the most part I inhaled every noodle on my plate. It was probably the best pad thai I’ve ever had….and I’m a pretty harsh critic. I was in a heavenly food coma by the time I was done!!
A storm is rolling in right now and we are playing it very low key. Christie is going to wake up and run with me in the morning (or so she claims) so I’ll probably go to bed a little early tonight.

Have a good one!! 🙂

August 21, 2009 at 7:49 pmGood luck with the run!! I remember 7 miles being the first run I was *scared* of during my half marathon training – it was the farthest I’d ever gone. Such a sense of accomplishment when I finished.
